What's wrong with Uplay? I use it daily and have no problems at all.

Has anyone bought this and redeemed it yet?
Do you have to use a proxy to redeem the key in uplay ?

This is for Amazon.com, not UK. You need to create a separate US account.

no single player campaign.
there's scenarios mode to train you in how to play the game.
there's terrorist hunt for either lone wolf or squad play.
it's a very polished game and there's plenty of content even for single player.
best thing is that DLC maps are free!

****! I likes me a good story and campaign purposes. This trend towards Multi-Player games with extortionate Season Passes is getting tedious... Some of us are too old to play against kids and teens. The developers inabilities to prevent cheating hacks adds to my frustrations with MP gaming. I just duckducked a few reviews and the SP bits sound more like tutorial add-on's. I recall reading some months ago that it would have a good SP campaign but seems it got pulled.

Not remotely into Multi-Player games, so how does the Single-Player campaign play out? Does it have an engrossing storyline? How much time does it take to complete?

I play this regularly and I've literally come across hackers less than half a dozen times and then they get kicked 2 minutes in. It's not an issue

Its not even team killers a lot of time, its people who just run ahead straight into a room full of terrorists, immediately die and then leave you to one man a building full of 25 enemies on your own.

Heat for the price .
You need a good team who communicate , playing with randoms is a waste of time.

Most of the good people I play with I met by playing randomly. It's a lucky dip really, but there are definitely quality players in the mix.

Yeah - team killing a-holes can be an issue. I'm not sure how good/responsive the reporting mechanisms are in the game either.
But if played with friends/decent minded folk, it's great.
Since it requires a brain to play with, you get less kids on it. Thank COD for keeping kids away from real games.

Or moronic team mates if you're match making with randoms.

It has come along way over the last couple of years for sure. The UX is a lot better now and I thought that The Division launch would cripple it like Watch Dogs did but it seemed to handle the load.

Excellent game for a thinking man's shooter.
Slower tactical pace - more of a mental workout and akin to FPS Chess, than a regular no-brain required shooter.
The only frustration I have is in the game not allowing you to search out and pick specific maps for general play.
You can create custom games, but then getting people to join may be hit or miss.
If Ubisoft polished up the interface it'd get more praise from me.
But as a shooter - it's solid and tense and you've only your stupidity to blame for most deaths.

Doom has an awesome campaign. Real shame it's not coop. I'm really on the fence about siege, looks great, I'm a big rainbow 6 fan - the ongoing issues are putting me off a bit.

Thanks for that. Why are we going online for all games now. I bought Starwars which is rubbish as well as COD. Maybe its just me but I will say Doom in single player is very good

Has this got a good single player game in it. I just hate online games with kids?

This is online multiplayer only, with an offline Terrorist hunt mode for people to play solo if they wish.
There are a few solo tutorials but that is about as far as the single player content goes, as far as I am aware.
