I'm trying to find a gift for a very hard to buy for Dad, for Father's Day. I've bought him plenty of gifts that I don't think he's ever used, keepsakes, personalised tools etc (although it is the thought that counts). This year I'm going with a different approach. When looking for something on The Gift Experience I noticed they've got a 2 night hotel break, with breakfast both mornings for £83.
I've bought this before (for the gf and I) for £99 and it was good value then. We didn't use it for ages, but it lasts for 10 months. It works out to £20.75 per person for each nights stay and breakfast so hard to say no to. Perfect for Dad and Mum will force him to use it.

My exact thoughts ruzzy - cheers OP for the spot but £50 for six minutes in a car is a joke and a rip off imo - heat for the 2 day break though :smiley:

The car driving doesn't seem good to me " take control of two incredible driving machines for 3 miles each"
3 miles! at only 60 mph that's 3 minutes per car

Heat for the effort and timing! Good solutions for Dads who have everything....... had some very good deals ourselves... however, with some you need to watch the small print - and adding kids (or grandkids) is a definite financial no-no. But nice work op!

You're right. Had a look at Buyagift. The Gift Experience are a little cheaper but there's good deals on both. I stayed in a hotel during the week but from what I've seen weekends are available with supplements. I think Sunday might not need a supplement though - check with the hotel/company. It might be just Friday and Saturday (clubbing nights).

Same as Buyagift. They sometimes do 25% off. But heat for now as good timing.
Yes, weekends are allowed but sometimes you have to pay £10 or £20 supplement to the hotel directly. Look at fine print on each hotel.
