Just been to Tesco's and they had 2 of these drives left on their sale shelf priced at £45.
They are 2.5" USB 3 drives in black.
Maybe of use to someone and not a bad price IMO. Not as good as the Asda deal on the 2tb Western digital ones from the other week but still good.

Might be of use if you actually mention if there were any left on the shelves and in which store? This may or may not be store specific but it's most likely going to get a lot of the wild goose chase comments coming through....

My Zpider242 is a hard one to please. Sorry lad but I can't be responsible for the stock @ Tesco's or where stock is available, I'm only trying to share the love.
Lame post?

Do these drives offer dual backup as in do they backup pictures and videos? Can't seem to find one anywhere these days

I don't think any post on here has the ability to walk, so technically they are all lame.
However your post has resulted in you making a inept post.

I'm confused....external drives will take any data you can send over the usb connection. So yes it will take photos and video. You could put as many folders on it you like.

There were none of these in Cardington Road, Bedford yesterday. Lots of empty shelves with out of stock stickers so probably hoovered up by the staff as usual, hardly ever get any of these deals in there.
(And before any says I'm being harsh on Tesco employees, a number of staff there were sacked last year for fiddling/reusing customer's coupons/vouchers and some were prosecuted for fraud. Deals on electrical/tech items are never in there and I suspect most go straight to staff and then off to eBay)

There have been a few of these in a Tesco near me (hundreds of miles from op) for over a week now - also in 2 different Tescos I saw a shelf sticker with this hard drive but only 1TB for about 34 pounds, and I actually bought one. The reason I don't name the store is because I'll be back there in a few days and will buy another one if any left - the 1tb Toshiba is not shown online, but staff can check on their phones instore and hope the stock list is up to date.
I know many Tesco deals are store specific, but from my experience in this case, it looks as if there might be old stock kicking about if you can get a friendly member of staff to help....... or else you can post on here about how it's a useless deal without checking any facts ?? :smirk:

It looks as this is national as I bought one yesterday at Tesco Dudley. There were a few left and one 1TB left at £34.
