Has anyone actually used this one for Presta valves? I've got a rubbish pump at home that takes ages to get any air into a Presta valve so would be up for this if it actually works well.

best thing to do is get a couple of brass presto to schrader adapters from eBay, that way any bicycle, car pump will do.

I think these are only good for pumping up when you are out - best get a large pump for at home , I use a foot pump which is very similar to a car type which is very good (worth spending the money) and hopefully will get this for attaching to my bike as I have lost my old one now

Already got a few of these but it's still a pita to use on my rubbish basic foot pump.
Anyway reserved this one now for a fiver. Will report back in case anyone else is interested.

Picked one of these up in store was on the clearance section - so I guess not many about as a new model but great for £5.

this is presta compatible have tested.
were OOS in maypole Birmingham. But plenty in stock birmingham bordesley green. (their Customer service is much to be desired though)
reserve on line as instore price was higher.
end of line i think the new range comes with a pressure gauge.

Got one of these used it today , gonna be one of those purchases you glad you made. A couple of pumps and tyres were back to pressure. Both fittings on it
I've got the one with the pressure gauge and it's awesome. Very light and I take it in my ruck sack when commuting for emergencies. Guessing this one is a good as mine and phenomenal value for money.

I've had one of these for over 10 years, they are well made. Fine for MTB and hybrid, but struggle to get decent pressure for road tyres, if you ride a road bike they are not really suitable unless in an emergency. You really need a track pump for road bikes anyway.

I was using a track pump (the basic one from Argos for £10) on my hybrid bike but I kept having to take it apart to fix it and the seal wasn't great on a presta valve, I suppose you get what you pay for. This pump takes a bit longer to inflate my tyres but the seal is great now so the tyres are much harder and well worth the £5

this is great little pump assuming its the same as I have at home. You should be able to unscrew the valve at the top of the pump and rotate the head for alternate valves (Presta/Schrader)
