Two year warranty and almost 5 star average reviews (includes trade)...
No doubt the tool snobs will scoff, this is a good deal.

Dunno about the saw but Irwin "Nail embedded wood" 230mm blades are brilliant and make short work of demolishing pallets, and old sheds. :stuck_out_tongue:

Cheers for that, need to take a fence down but leave the posts, these should do the job.

Thanks for this. Had a look for these blades but struggling to find this type in a long length.
There are long Irwin blades on Amazon for "demolition" - are they the same as the wood and metal ones?
If you have a product code that would be great, thanks.

Would this work with the Titan?
The spec says "Max. cut in wood 115mm" Does this mean the max blade that can be fitted is 115mm?
Thanks for any help!

Does this work on bones?

Yes but hard work. Wood chipper by a fast flowing river whilst messy is quite effective.

These are handy. Not very precise, but good for renovation and demolition for joists and pipes etc where access is limited. Found some HILTE blades on eBay which are excellent. Don't use low end blades. I bought Aldi ones which blunted and bent instantly.

May I ask for the type of HILTE blade you bought please, and if possible a link/ eBay ID?

What does "single speed variable" mean?
Littlechat to mif
17 Jun 162#19
The variable bit means the saw speed changes depending on how much you pull the trigger, like an accelerator in a car, and single speed means it just has one gear, so basically you can go from 0 to maximum speed depending on your trigger control. Some drills etc are two (or three) speed variable, so they have one gear that goes from 0 to 500rpm max and a second gear that goes from 0 to 1900rpm max, again with the trigger controlling the speed but a switch on the top to select the gearing.

Thanks.
Some reviews mention that it is not variable, some say that it is. I thought that Screwfix were hedging their bets on what you would receive.
Wow mate. That's more than twice the price, a much more powerful model. Erbauer
is a top brand.
