Great deals! I'm new to Shopitize, can you use the offers more than once? e.g buy 4 pints of milk today and again in a few days time. Thank you.

Shopitize is a grocery cash back app that update their offers every Wednesday. You simply release any of the offers you like, purchase the products, scan the barcode and upload your receipt. Usually all being well the cash back is in your account within a couple of minutes ready for you to withdraw when you have accumulated the minimum £5...

29 Jun 161#28
Hey Coutinho1995, unfortunately the offers can only be claimed once unless it states otherwise with a red circle in the top right hand corner of the offer indicating the number of redemptions. There are no multi-redemptions this week...
KiKai
29 Jun 161#29
But the tiny rewards soon mount up. Plus on occasion you get the odd freebie...

Thanks as always KiKai for your analysis of where best to exploit this week's Shopitize offers - slim pickings yet again at Waitrose for another week tho :disappointed:
Plus The milk offer got added between midnite and 2am this week
Good news : the App's still showing it as minimum of £4.00 [which it was 'temporarily' reduced to from £5.00, but the period for that reduction long since passed].

Thanks Kikai for posting this, reliable as always.
Anyone know how long it takes for Shopitize to respond to email about a problem? Reported a problem last Friday, I've since updated many times, incl on Tuesday (yesterday) that it hadn't processed, and submitted my receipts by email. No response still, not sure if it will work with the new list so haven't paid much attention to it yet. Will eventually... but does anyone know the current ETA of replies.... I know the 3 days is delayed, and I presume not to count Sundays. Twiddling my thumbs...
KiKai
29 Jun 16#40
Hey Toonah when you report something via the app I'm pretty sure it says they'll be in touch within 7 days. How long they will take to respond to an email could be anything between 7-14 days depending on how busy they are. They will respond to your email in due course...

My local co op has plenty for £1.99, will it be going on offer for £1 like you said KiKi?

D'oh.... signed up my dad on this, on another phone... it gave all the offers, some new (for new users I presume), selected the milk.. scanned the old bottle, just to see if we could take a photo of something as a test if it works, it worked... took the photo as required. I showed my dad to say it was just an error for me on my phone, and as I was holding it up it flashed and went black/blank.. then the error message popped up for Shopitize, this time saying I could submit it as an error (something that didn't happen for me on my phone) - so I clicked through... submitted an error message. Then went back to Shopitize, tried it again... and this time it keeps taking a "picture" of black. So same error as on my phone. But this is a different phone, and on my dad's new account. I will go INSANE. Means I cannot submit anything until it's fixed.
Argle. I wave my clenched fist in the air!

Hey, Toonah, would going on the Shopitize website be a way round it for you? I often forget about the Shopitize main site. Not sure if you can submit receipts on there, as never tried, but doesn't it work like that on topcashback and quidco's main sites?
mk-donald
30 Jun 16#44
Unfortunately not - Shopitize claims are via App only. There's a website but it only reveals the current offers, doesn't allow you to claim any of them.
That said, the fact that CheckoutSmart recently added website claims, following on from Quidco ClickSnap and TopcashBack's Snap & Save, may indicate they may want to play catch up to avoid the sort of glitches the App can have.

30 Jun 16#46
Hehe... didn't know myself, just assumed it was by phone but didn't know for sure. So it wads a good tip... if it had worked!
I feel like something is missing without Shopitize... it's such a part of shopping for me I'm lost without it. Part of me just thought I won't buy any of that stuff, but milk.... I need my milk. D'oh!
KiKai
30 Jun 16#47
Hey markymark maybe the price has since changed as I saw it was 99p on Sunday. Always get products scanned to check prices as sometimes the shelf edge label is incorrect...
KiKai
30 Jun 16#48
Toonah have you recently updated your app to the new version?
Toonah
1 Jul 16#49
Yep - well not sure if I did originally but once I was having problems last Friday I uninstalled it, then reinstalled it and signed in again, same issue. And the new account on my dad's phone - that had the same issue, and that's a different phone.
Toonah
1 Jul 16#50
Yay - Shopitize replied to the latest email, asking me to email them photos of the other receipts so they can process it separately (they replied to email 5.... email 4 had this info... resent that). Hopefully that will be dealt with, but no idea if they can fix the issue, or if there is any way of identifying what the issue is.

Hmm, now to wait for the next one. Have sent my receipts from last week, yesterday (still waiting for next reply) sent receipt for milk. But still nothing. I miss Shopitize :-(
