Seems to be a good price for the original. Cex give £13 cash, £18 credit
I know you can get the Nintendo Selects version @ base.com for £13.85 which is slightly cheaper but this is for the original edition with the original artwork (if that makes any difference to you)
A recent deal for this original got hot at £16.95, so this is a whole £1.10 cheaper, plus there is potential quidco / topcashback of 3.5% which may knock another whopping £0.55 off - so potentially £15.30ish for the original which isn't bad (you will also get 75 (£0.75 worth) of rakuten superpoints back to spend on future purchases so effectively the price could be equivalent to £14.55)
Ps. Don't forget if you have any Rakuten superpoints then start to use them up now as it looks like they will be no more in a few months time, so this seems like a good deal to spend them on

I had the original version bought on release and there was no reversible cover.looked exactly like this one.
I think the reversible cover was only with the limited edition.

Can't see anywhere on the website where it specifys what packaging you'll get so wouldn't be suprised if this was still the select version, a lot of sites just haven't bothered updating stock photos
As long as its not the selects version and sealed thats fine by me.

It's a newer reprint so it doesn't include the reversible cover.

Seems like a decent deal, but shame I only prefer top down Zelda games. Still, heat from me.

select versions are cheap budget versions of certain games.game will be exactly the same but cover art design is different and ugly.they will have much lower re-sale value later on and no collector wants them.
as far as games recommendation:
Luigi's Mansion 2
Super Mario 3D Land
New Super Mario Bros 2
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
Kid Icarus Uprising
Animal Crossing New Leaf
Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D
Zelda A Link Between Worlds
Zelda Majora's Mask 3D
hmm, seemingly no end to stock of the original 3ds. Wait for the selects edition, it will drop to £13 something pretty quickly.

The Nintendo selects range are re-released versions at a lower price point (with slightly rubbish (in my opinion) box art etc) of original Nintendo games that have sold a certain huge amount of copies in the past - kind of like a platinum range. There are some good bargains to be had - I'd look at some of those titles on that list if you've just got a 3ds and don't know what to look for. In my opinion most mario and zelda games are must haves though
