The things i've heard about this make be question if its even worth this price. I liked Skyrim but wasn't a huge fan, never finished it. Am I likely to feel the same about this?

Great price! Heat added
It's definitely worth he price but only if mmo's arr your thing. I has the visuals and the story, the combat is abit wooden but for £8 and no subscription fee's this is a fantastic price!

I take it that you need a PSN Plus Subscription for this, yes?

Quick question do you need PSN+ to play Fifa or cod online on PS4?

You're either paying for it and you don't realise it on PS4 or you're using a PS3...

Maybe you have someone elses account on your ps4 that has ps+ on it. Other than that your probably paying for it without realising

Genuine question: how's the performance profile of this game now? Did they polish up the frame rate and sort out the frame pacing?
I'd like to try it out, but not if the engine still struggles under load.

I loved Skyrim mate and I have to say this on the whole is definitely different. Most of the time you will see other players running about completing their own story's - but there are sections where you will be on your own until a quest has been completed. You will also need a permanently connected Internet connection with a high speed. In my opinion the graphics on this where not PS4..more PS 3.5 if you understand what I'm saying.
If you haven't already done so then I would say go and buy The Witcher or wait for the Skyrim remaster due October 28th

Don't bother if you want to PVP as everyone will be hundreds of levels ahead and kill you easily unless you stay on Blackwater.

Great and under rated game, came out at a bad time in the mmo market but really a lot of fun running around the world alone or with friends. It is still getting a lot of new content and everytime i've checked in a lot of people are still playing it, picked up a ps4 copy since most of my friends moved from pc a while ago.

Legit better than skyrim. Has far more depth and the same quality (average) story.

You don't need any of the dlcs, there is probably at least 600-1000 hours worth of content without any dlc.

heat added, I love this game and that's an excellent price. loads of content before dlcs, amazing game for just exploring, it's huge.
This will have a huge patch, the latest update I did was almost 15gb. You will need a reasonable Internet connection, but I have not had any lag issues since I have been playing (since december).

They're changing the game this Autumn so it kind of 'auto-levels' you for each area which will make it more open-world, like Skyrim. Currently it plays more like a typical levelling MMO (WoW, EQ, etc.)
Also, we get Skyrim PS4 in October - win! (Yes, I'm willing to play the whole game over from scratch, it's that good.)

Me too, i played around 90hrs of Skyrim on PS3 when it was released and did about 50% of the game if that. Was very disappointed to try going back and find the frame rate nearly unplayable compared to modern games! Will be putting many hours in to the Enhanced Edition when it's released. Exciting times, now back to my Souls marathon.
Also, heat for this at £8.00 I've not played a lot of it but it seems okay when you get over all the other muppets jumping all over the place ruining the atmosphere and immersion of the single player experience masterpiece that was Skyrim.
