Was looking at Apricots in Tesco's on Sat. They looked terrible. Tiny greyish lumps. They had another named variety for considerably more money, that looked nice. But at 50p per apricot, it just seemed too much.
This seems the way with Tesco now. Their standard fair is atrocious quality and anything half decent is way over-priced. For the past year I've had much better luck with Aldi and their fruit. They just don't have the range of products to go there every week.

I tried most of super markets apricots... it's tasteless...... no sweet or tangy!

It's been so long since I ate an apricot (not a dried one) that I can't even remember what they taste like :neutral_face:
