Seems competitive for £10 on a 30 day sim only contract.
2G/3G on Vodafone but you can leave easily if any coverage issues.
Cashback available on Topcashback / Quidco.

Only 3G data speeds makes this not a great deal imo.

The Life mobile error a few days ago?
You were lucky they didn't cancel or only give it for 30 days.

The Vodafone signal died after a month. Talkmobile hold no clout with Vodafone, tried speaking to them direct, but as I was with Talkmobile customer they wouldn't speak to me. Back to Talkmobile they wouldn't do anything either. Wrote recorded delivery letters, still no reply. All the time they took their direct debit for a service I couldn't use. Believe me,you'll regret it if you goto Talkmobile. Absolutely shocking non existent customer service.

This problem wasn't solved in the proceeding 23 months either. My 2 year deal ended and my happiest day with Talkmobile was when I got my PAC code to leave!!

I don't doubt what you were saying, but since this a 30 day contract, how is being locked in for 24 months relevant?
You could just PAC out and move on...

None whatsoever, just pointing out they weren't great. If you have to try and speak to customer services in 30 days to cancel, plus the 30 days notice they want to cancel that's 2 months. I hope it works for you. But if it doesn't,then at least you'll have been pre warned. If it's too good to be true,it probably is. In in the market for a sin only deal currently, and this may be the best deal on paper for data, but I know why they're having to offer it. Surprisingly I won't be taking it up,and will pay slightly more and not have any grief.

They use vodafone for their network. I did a quick check in my area, because there seemed to be some good data deals with vodafone either directly or through third parties. I was a little taken aback. Their network seemed to be about a decade behind EE and Three. Outside of heavily developed urban areas their coverage was appalling. 4/5ths of the area i travel around showed as "internet and email on 2g" or no coverage at all, 3g/4g coverage was non existent outside of the city. That same area on EE had 100% coverage on 2g 85% coverage on 3g, when i switch from 3g to 4g on the checker the coverage seems no different.

"You can leave easily" - Not in my experience - took 8 different conversations to exit my contract after 1 day and after the 7th conversation I still had early termination charges on my account....

Was a better deal last week with £47 TCB but I still didn't go with it as my wife has just gone with talkmobile and the data signal round here is not great. strangely much worse than Vodafone.
Been with talkmobile for the past 5yrs. No problems as they use the Vodafone network. Agree with the rubbish customer service

3g speeds I wish!!! I ported my number over to Talkmobile last Wednesday and they have fcuk it up and even after 3 phone calls I can not use the mobile internet.
They keep saying its Vodafone's fault and to wait another 48hrs for them to allocate an APN to my sim.

can't you set the apn yourself? I had to do it for an ovivo sim a while back, fairly easy to do, so have a google for talkmobile apn and follow instructions from there.
Have to say talkmobile/voda is terrible signal for me too. lumbered with a 12 month contract to boot. You lives and learns.

Yes I have used the auto setup from the text they send and it didn't work so I then manually set it up, neither worked and after a few calls to talk mobile they confirmed the problem was at their end and they had screwed up my number porting.
All they could say for certain that my sim was not set up correctly at their end.
Before porting my number over the internet worked fine on the same talk mobile sim card.

they make their money by charging over £200 if you exceed their data limits by mere minutes, despite suggesting they have a £15 limit on their invoices. By the time you get their warning text you're down already over £200, any company happy to do this is not to be trusted

What @johncenafan said. Only 500 minutes compared to 1500 but 4G. Tariff info here.

30 day deal, 4Gb for £10 - worth a punt. On voda network, and even though it's not 4G, their 3G coverage is very good for me - regularly get 5 - 7 meg download speeds. And if it's no good for you, you can cancel after 30 days

Is anyone else having problems signing up? I can't get past stage 2 of the checkout - the continue button does nothing when pressed.

The postcode lookup doesn't work with certain addresses, and you can't override it. Shoddy web dev work ... and really annoying as you lose the cashback if you have to ring them.

Stay clear it's a con. Just been rejected due to having a good credit rating and they emailed me offering a PAYG sim instead. 1 minute later I took out the ID contract instead with no problems.

If you want to show off match this.
I got this deal and effectively got paid off £14 for using the service for free for 12 months ( with £80 quidco)
