taj frozen spices 2 for £1 @ Morrison's,all varietys Inc garlic,ginger,garlic and ginger,green chillies, tastes lovely at a bargain price.

My local Morrison's has ditched all the Asian stuff so can't get these any more. They're veg btw and not spices. The ginger is pretty good but the garlic is lacklustre compared to freshly prepared. Convenient at the price though so hot.

I have tried several ethnic brands of frozen garlic, this is the best.Ginger and chillies pretty good too. Even at full price it's cheap compared to fresh!
Doesn't replace fresh for all situations, but excellent for long-cooked dishes.

Ginger and chillis are a good idea (although we prefer fresh), but we use garlic on an almost daily basis so we always have plenty of bulbs in. That said, the price is good if these are your thing.
