I bought 1 and 2 on the Vita last year.
It never mentioned cross play then!
Just for the record, how do i go about using cross play with the save data etc? as PS1 games dont store on the cloud do they?
Anyone got a guide please?

If a game has cross save normally one of the save slots is highlighted thus.
Most games I know also have it as the default slot at the top.

They aren't cross play but they are cross buy.

Great games. First one is a little light on content but the second is one of my favourite games of all time, great 'classic' JRPG with the unique 108 stars to find.

Are the original PS1 versions of this still worth silly money?

I played suikoden 1 back on the ps1 thought it was a brilliant game, never played 2 or 3. Thinking I should pick them up for this price

3 was quite different from 1&2 in mechanics & design but definitely get 2, it was the same general formula as the first one but with much more content and a better story. Plus you get some returning characters.

Suikoden was the first game I ever completed! When the game ended I shed a few tears

2 is one my fav games of all time. Simply Amazing! I've never been able to re-experience that formula in another game and 3 on wards just didnt quite translate over well.
I played 1 after, and wish I had played in order. FF7 and Suikoden 2 up there in my personal favourites.

I got a £25 psn card, only got £2.50 left shall I get suikoden 1 or suikoden 2. Does the story follow through

No, it's an all new story in 2 but some characters and minor events/locations do carry over. You will be able to follow 2 without playing 1. It's up to you, 2 is the better game but if you're going to play both you should start with 1.
