Certainly an interesting approach, though perhaps not low enough considering the recent £15.99 offer at Funstock.

Those saying it's a great idea have no idea how long it will take to grind through. It's long enough when you're playing through normally. I love the game, but the grind in normal conditions was tiring.

This is a pretty neat idea, when I had this on Console I rotated between 3 Operators so for saving £18 compared to RRP on Steam and the only difference being you've got to grind more, this is pretty good

Who are the best operators then?

This is a really good idea. I hope we see more games with editions like this as it guarantees larger communities and still allows those who want to, to get full content from minute-1.

Same price at Ubi, extra 20% off if you have 100 ubi coins.

It'll be pretty **** when your teammates don't have access to operators necessary to counter the enemy team because of the grindfest required to unlock them.

Well it's different strokes for different folks, but Thermite & Rook are some of the most essential. After those, Thatcher, Blitz, Ash, Smoke, Frost & Jaeger are great.
Easy. Play terrorist hunt. I have so much R$ that I would like to cash it for real world moolah!

It doesn't take that long to be honest. I'm level 55 playing a few hrs here and there. Doing so I have saved over 120k renown so could unlock quite a lot but it also depends how good you and your team are  .. It's definitely worth it for that price especially because as you play though it you'll work out who the best operators are go unlock. I literally use about 4 or 5 operators max so well worth it.

I'm tempted by this but I know if I buy it within 2 weeks the full game will be on offer at a similar price to this and I'll be stuck with the starter edition forever..

Defo worth the price. Surprisingly one of my favourite games of the past year. It won't be much of a grind as the game is a lot of fun. I worry for beginners now though as there are advanced players and strategies going on now. Still should get some fun out of it though

so what does the season pass give you if you already have access to all maps?
is it just the pretty make up stuff?

Think I'm gonna get this. Is it playable solo?

In some ways, I see this as being better than the main game. Best to start with fewer classes, learn to master them and gradually unlock the others. That way you learn to best use each of the types. Wasn't keen on the beta but might bite at this price

No only training missions and a game mode called terrorist hunt which isn't worth playing solo .
the best multiplayer FPS I have played in a long time

Sorry I think I worded my question poorly. I know there is no single player. What I meant was is the multiplayer playable if I only playing on my own. For example, overwatch is very team based game and most people roll in groups of 3+. I was wondering if this was similar?

I'd say this game is best played in a team I've noticed, I've only just started playing and have one friend who owns it so looking for other players to team up with, feel free to add me. Heat Added.

Pretty good deal, though I was never a fan of the class grinding. It should have been just cosmetic.

Oh sorry, yeah perfectly fine to play solo, i always used to play in a full 5 man squad which was fun but play solo these days... just as fun but really helps having people to teach you the game when you first start out as maps and operator talents can be a bit confusing to begin with
Gonna go play now :P

I can currently get the Season Pack for £9.00 but it is a Uplay activation Key. Question for you good folk, If I purchase half a game with a Steam key and the remainder with a Uplay key will the entire game be accessible from either the Steam or Uplay launcher?

I think it will work, I had a uPlay Gold weapon skin and that worked fine even though the game is on steam.
How can you get it for so cheap?

Hell of alot of grinding to do compared to the extra £5 for the full standard version.

There were a couple of dozen Global activation keys available @ around £9.00 each via the G2A site... Cheapest now is about £10.50.
So, to have purchased this deal at £11.99 + the Season Pass at £9.00 from G2A would have meant one would have bought the deluxe version for £20.00.
