PAYDAY 2 is an action-packed, four-player co-op shooter that once again lets gamers don the masks of the original PAYDAY crew - Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains - as they descend on Washington DC for an epic crime spree.
The new CRIMENET network offers a huge range of dynamic contracts, and players are free to choose anything from small-time convenience store hits or kidnappings, to big league cyber-crime or emptying out major bank vaults for that epic PAYDAY. While in DC, why not participate in the local community, and run a few political errands?
Up to four friends co-operate on the hits, and as the crew progresses the jobs become bigger, better and more rewarding. Along with earning more money and becoming a legendary criminal comes a new character customization and crafting system that lets crews build and customize their own guns and gear.

I like how you gave us proof. As though the care factor had actually moved off zero for anybody

Used to be fun, then I found i had to wait for a 2gb update every time i booted it up so I uninstalled!

Couldn't agree more. The update files are always stupidly big to what the change log says... but meh, aside from that it's a good game

I preordered Payday 2 a couple years ago and the devs are awful. There's something like 30 packs of DLC which is growing by the month and the devs tried to introduce microtransactions (in a paid game...) before getting torn to bits by the community.
A lot of my favourite heists are in the DLC, so I'd say yes

873 hrs 'invested' in this game, so I thoroughly recommend. Best played with a group of friends (3 or 4) with chat as you take your chances with public games. They can be fun but also infuriating.

A mere 345 hours here. Used to play most days after work with a group.
Not a fan of how they keep charging for more and more DLC (though do appreciate only the host has to own missions) but I do feel it's worth it if you get that much play time.

I never played it much because I would constantly get kicked from servers for being a nOOb and not knowing what I am supposed to do. The kicker is I couldn't learn what to do because I would get kicked from a server. 'Criss-cross!'. Uninstalled

This game is fun for a while but it gets boring after a while because it is just horde mode or trial and error (If you want to do it stealthily)

my advice is to get GOTY edition when its on sale as t gives you most of the dlc and the rest pop up on sale every couple of months if you fancy some extra things and find you really like the game

Normal sale price, that said its been awhile since its last sale from memory...
Measly 582 hours here  Really should get back into it, the Infamy 25 push burnt me out - getting kicked from every other game because you're max rank took its toll on me. Defo pick up GOTY though, well worth the extra £4, but don't think it gets you all the DLC though as it doesnt. Has up until Clover and the Diamond Heist. Still a good chunk though! Tell that to the £5 Biker Heist DLC released just over a week ago!
