Did you not think to try the demo first? I did, enjoyed that and purchased the full game for about £30, don't regret it one bit.
Of course, many aspects come into play why you may or may not enjoy it, personally for me i'm a big Star Wars fan so whilst it may not be a perfect game, the Star Wars element certainly ticks a lot of the 'enjoyment' boxes for me.

Well i wasnt smart enough to dodge this game because i purchased it off the playstation store and uninstalled it shortly after. Just offering some advice, but apparently people dont understand that concept and just moan when someone criticises something. If you dont understand why i commented suggesting people not to buy it.. then please buy it yourself and waste your own money

I've seen that figure, that is from the PUBLISHERS side, not the retailers AFAIK?!? Given the franchise, retailers may have expected another GTAV (which sold 11m copies in the first day) so the point is still potentially valid. If the stock was still selling well, a retailer would never reduce their margin to such a degree without good reason

Its done better than expected selling more than 13 million copies

This gets crucified by reviewers for a lack of content and no campaign and that dumb season pass, yet overwatch with no campaign and a lack of game modes and micro transactions on top of the full price tag gets praised from the rooftops by every reviewer and their dog just because it's Blizzard! Lol even if the sister company Activision did the same they would have been crucified.

No, of course not. All you need is Xbox Live or PS Plus.

Good price for game - however as a Star Wars fan - loved the graphics and atmosphere of the levels - found the experience rather flat and repetitive. Gone back to Battlefield games instead - same developer - different experience totally.

Could be a multitude of reasons really, for instance, we all know that there are more PS4 users in the country, the retailers would have bought more copies for that platform. It doesn't seem to have done as well as everyone predicted so they may just have more stock left that they need to shift before it goes any cheaper?
The thing I always find funny is that when an XBone game is reduced its because the console is dying under the crushing weight of the PS4 yet the other way around, its just a bargain

Does anyone know why all the Star Wars BF offers are for PS4 and never Xbox One?

I got this on the £13 preowned deal the other week. great game, pity about the random melee attacks when I'm not even pushing the thumbstick. it happens so much I've given up playing. :disappointed:

I'd say this is about the right price. I loved the demo, bought on release day, but the novelty & looks of the game soon wore off. It does look amazing, and it's good fun for a while, but it just lacks a campaign, and something in the multiplayer, I could never quite put my finger on it. Heat for the price, and I'd recommend trying it, it may be the game for you, and like I and others have said, it does look fantastic

Yes and no. You will need to be online to get the most from it, but that will come from your PS+ membership I guess (I have the Xbox One so don't quote me).
However, people say that this game is "half finished" which isn't REALLY true, its just following the annoying trend of software companies holding back content to get more revenue.

Being a PS4 noob, does this require an online sub of any description?

If you think the graphics are crap on this game then you need to seriously have a think about either the age of your TV or your choice of TV

More like think about your entitlement and grasp on reality. As a video game artist myself it's tiring to hear the hate pour out of people that clearly have no concept how hard it is to make things keep looking better than the last best thing when the last thing was Witcher 3 or Uncharted 4 or any leading PC game with all the effects turned up to 11 on a 4K monitor.
If you don't like something then simply state it's not for you, but given the level of skill and artistry that is out there, on offer either for free or next to nothing with always something else incredible on the horizon I really don't see what people have to moan about except to fill some void in their lives.

I picked this up for £13 from GG last week. It's a bit hollow until you get into a decent game.
I'm a fan of Star Wars but nothing in the realms of religious. The graphics are probably the best in any game(?). Content is lacking, in terms of maps, heroes and upgradables.
But overall, if this game was up to £25, I would purchase.

That's something I have issues with, its the only thing that seems to matter nowadays, only cult games such as Minecraft seem to break the trend. Same with the PS4 v XBone debate, it ALWAYS comes down to power, hence you end up with a load of 'fur coat no knicker' games which look amazing but have no long term playability. BRING BACK DIZZY THE EGG!!!!

I can't see that anyone has praised the graphics? I guess it all depends on how much of a gamer you are etc. I barely have the time anymore so for me it's very much a casual thing. But a few times a week, it's great to get online and spend twenty to forty minutes 'living' Star Wars.
Without a doubt there is much better games out there, but that doesn't make this a bad or terrible game.

LOL, Atari 400?? Either I've met an older gamer than me or you meant 2600?? I played a ROM of some Atari 2600 games a while back, those "realistic" graphics sure don't seem very realistic anymore!!

It says alot when the only real positive thing people are saying about this game is how it looks. It does look amazing and i love Star Wars. But if you want a decent FPS, look elsewhere. That's all im trying to say. I did play the demo and i enjoyed it. But the demo doesnt represent the full game though so you cant base it on that

Its a waste of time trying to convince people on here of ANYTHING, however, in this case, your opinion is pretty much just YOUR opinion. For instance, many hate COD: BO3 with a passion, yet I think its pretty good, loads of people said that Avatar was brilliant, I thought it was a bit naff
I've played this and I would agree that its a bit disappointing, as a StarWars fan and COD player, it feels like I should like it... but I didnt. HOWEVER, its still a decent game, especially for this sort of price. Basic rule on here, if you don't like it, move on or say why, to say that its **** isn't enough, are the graphocs bad, is the gameplay rubbish etc, that's more helpful and allows others to gauge the game
