I think it's a cheapest deal you can find to get this XA without contract.

Not sure if anyone actually read the GSM review for the battery section on this phone but it's abyssmal. The S6 scores like 73h endurance rating whilst the XA 40 hours.

Yeah this. Ridiculous price for the spec.
Go for Honor 5C if you want a big screen, decent performance and £50 back in your pocket or Xperia Z3 Compact if you want small screen and stellar battery life. Both will be a considerably wiser investment.

So basically an M4 AQUA with marshmallow. Why not just send a software update?! Very poor screen resolution for a £192 phone.

They can't charge £192 for software update?
Anyway it does have double the storage of the M4 sadly they use more of it than ever on their software. Lacks the waterproofing too. Think the camera system better though.

isnt the m5 better. has the x10 processor instead of p10?
Better cameras, 1080p screen, better battery capacity and does last longer too, waterproof(ish) 3gb ram
XA wins on looks, newer android version, Pump Express+ 2 (alright that might not be a major factor but it always makes me smirk) and 0.3mm thinner...

Two 1080p capable cameras and a 720p screen to watch them on. Yay.

I've got a Z3 Compact and it's a v e r y good phone. Battery life is amazing. But I want a slightly bigger screen. Battery certainly not as good in the XA but everything else seems ok and it certainly is a very good-looking phone. Has anyone used a 3rd party unlock for the O2 version?

I thought this had usb type c. With quick charge. Would be a deal breaker for me
Bargain. Good find! I was going to buy from Sony or Very at £140 quid.
Style, colour and performance will all suit my wife.
And I love the xperia dedicated camera buttons. instant photo taking.
I have the Z3 compact and Z1 before that. Love the phones.

You can get a z2 for less than this, a z3 for about the same.
Both much better phones.

I don't know much about phones but my Z3 needs replacing, I need a new phone. Is this real bad?

Has anyone tried to unlock one of these XAs on O2? Are unlock codes available yet?
It's a very good-looking phone mainly because of the almost bezel-less screen. It doesn't have a finger sensor but does have NFC so will be ok for Android Pay, if you use it. Seems to be the best looking phone in the new X range.
I agree, it has very good looks but the battery life kills it for me.

5" screen and 1280x720 at nearly £200? (That's Moto G spec) .... is the rest of the phone made of gold?
Saw this at the O2 shop a few weeks ago at this price, thought it was too much ....

Surely it should be £192+top up?

I reckon when the Chinese manufacturers start to improve certain areas of their phones, they'll really give the big players such as Sony, Samsung, etc a good run for their money...

Looks really good. Disappointed it has no gyro though. Too many phones released without a gyro these days.
