I've had a pair of these for a while (paid £9.99 for them) and my kids have some too.
At £6 or £10, they're a decent bargain.
I find headphones in this price range (based on the normal price these sell at) OK for listening to music or watching something on a tablet. But when playing my digital piano, it shows up their weaknesses.
In recent times, I've found Philips budget-ish headphones quite decent (Citiscape ones, that sell from anywhere between £25 and £60). And also their sports earphones I wear in the gym - decent enough sound, for budget earphones that are up to the rigours of working out.
But for £6 or even £10 they're definitely worth it, unless you're golden-eared, in which case I suspect there's precious little at such low price that would please.

Denon HiFi so don't think the quality of audio can be questioned if your aware of the denon brand .No point having a better quality headphone if they are really uncomfortable to wear.

Fair enough. Me personally could hear a huge difference in quality but I suppose it all books down to what's driving them / quality of audio you are listening too.

Just got some of these at Tesco Extra Chesterfield. Plenty all on the shelf all different colours, but priced at £25. Got a red pair that scanned at £6.

My son has a pair of these - no problems with build quality or design.
I'm a music teacher, and more than happy with the response for listening work up to 'A' level.

Yes I picked up 2 Sony and last one of the sennheisers.Found the sennheisers extremely uncomfortable as a head crusher so will take back as couldn't distinguish too much difference in sound quality between the 2.

There were 6 on the shelves in Llanelli this morning priced at £6. Lots of other PC offers as well. Picked up a couple 16GB USB flash drives (Tesco branded) for £2 each, down from £6. Heat added.

I have these and use them when out walking. They're decent. Not the best top end, you notice cymbals are a bit quiet, and the isolation isn't great, but they're way better than the earbuds I was using. They do feel cheap though.

I have the active noise cancelling equivalent to these (same folding mechanism). Can anyone recommend a fitting case for these, please?

What is "basic use" in the context of headphones? If I said these spectacles / glasses were ok for "basic use" what would you make of that? I'm not trolling you here, I'm just intrigued as to how listening to something could be considered basic, or indeed advanced? Basic laptop for basic use (bit of web surfing, using word etc) I get but basic use of headphones?

I bought them about 8 months ago and never saw them again sorry. NL5616W-2-SFI-14 is the model number. They seem softer on your ears and the quality is slightly better than the Sony. This is still a good price for the Sony headphones.

Bought these for my boy a while back. Sounded quite good, but plastic retaining clip that keeps cans on the headband gave out. I wouldn't rate these badly because of that, because he keeps them in his bag and his cans never last longer than 6 months.
For those that look after things better, these look and sounds great and the price is excellent.

Very hot deal. I've already got one pair and I'm thinking about buying a second pair. Does anyone know...if I bought a headphone splitter and wore two pairs at once, one over the other, would it make the bass better?

£4 minimum basket charge is a bit of a joke I am only going to pick them up! Can I assume the fact it lets me select collection from my local Tesco means they have stock?

Just came on here to post this and checked first to see if anyone else had done that. Showing as down from £25 to £15 to £6. Only one pair left in the little tesco in Macc now - I got the other pair. All the others in different colour were still £15. Heated.
