We got one as a temporary fix when we moved into our new house, but it turned out to be a decent toilet seat so we ended up leaving it in place....it still in use 3 years later :smile:

The thing I love about "non" softclose toilet seats is that at 3am you can slam the seat down (by accident or on purpose) to wake everyone up. In a world where you can no longer slam phones down to make a point, its quite satisfying.

These are actually really good. Had one on for about 4 years.

Had a standard wood one before- the metal rusted and got rid.

Changed it for a Homebase £25 soft close jobby. Just kept coming loose all the time. I think I've had to tighten the argos one maybe 3 or 4 times in 4 years.
