There are creatures obviously unknown to you such as students, people on low incomes or no income at all that do find this deal as HOT as the Iron itself . Honestly .

Hot for the price but cold for the quality. Wait till it starts burning your clothes and the clothes stick in the middle of the sole plate.

never say never  just look at the history of shops and see how many of them were bought and name changed more recently, safeway and then takenover by Morrisons, somerfields, taken over by Co-op.

Me ! I bought it 2 weeks ago.
I really don't get the difference between a £4 iron and a £30 one.

Yes some small Argos branches might move into a sainsburys, but the Argos name will never be taken away, it's like saying every company Mike Ashley has brought is a sports direct haha! A lot of people when they shop look for the company names that's why they stay

I've got Sainsburys equivalent to this....I keep the receipt then just before the years up ....sssshhh I return it for a replacement sssshhh! I used to do this with the hand mixer too until I was luck enough (spoilt) and was bought a Kitchen Aid for my 40th.

You can't get the 3 years if you collect from store

after the way they financed the deal, by using its own Bank and combining the Argos finance arm anything goes, we have seen worse in the past even by bigger business. The analysts predicted that the stores will be closed and moved into Sainsburys own store or merged with smaller Sainsbury stores. Get ready for the Sainsburys name and Argos to be combined and then the Argos name removed altogether in years to come.

Doubt Sainsbury's would close the whole retail business. That would be a stupid thing to do. There are more Argos stores than Sainsbury's stores so footfall is there but maybe too much what is needed in this economic climate so just shut down the unprofitable stores with high overheads.

Sainsburys won't close argos down as argos have helped sainsburys out as there the ones in debt not argos
