Be careful with magnifying mirrors. My house was nearly burnt down due to the magnifying side of the mirror being in the direct path to the sun with the focus down onto the surface of the table it was on. There was a burnt line tracking the suns path on the tabletop and onto some paper which was sitting on the table. If the paper had caught it would have been bye bye house!

I agree about the rusting, I bought a similar one from Asda for £4.00, within 3 months, the edge of the mirror surround was rusting, and where the base touched the tiles, the metal was showing signs of rusting, leaving stains on the tiles.
