Joking? - NO
How is good design, a ladder the manufacturers put 2 steps on and advise you not to use the top one.... Hmmmmm
I suggest if you want to step up just one step you buy a book and stand on it! ..... it's a whole lot cheaper and safer.
What I quoted was reviews on Argos, glad you are happy but others are not, at a tiny discount off the normal price and a poor quality set of steps (sorry step!) it's a **** deal

How does the £10 Argos ladder compare to the £15 Aldi ladder?

Probably a better buy and will last longer than Argos value, youngmans have a good name when it comes to ladders and the reviews back it up.
Also came with a six page user manual - full of do's and dont's, no doubt in response to EU diktats.
From the reviews:
"Max user weight is 150kg -im no where near that heavy and they collapsed under me! "
More EU regulations????:
"Before use, the instruction leaflet read 'Do not stand on the top tread', so I can only use the bottom tread!"
I bought this one and thought its pretty solid been using whilst renovating house.
