don't buy this phone if you plan to use gumtree or ebay and certain other apps because I noticed with ebay and gumtree you cant search or login as the screen goes black and this is 2nd phone from argos I tried and I'm sending it back

Did you update the handset's OS version beforehand and were you using the Mobile Edge Browser? Just curious...

Just for reference if anyone else has this black screen problem logging into apps
Settings - System - Display - Reduce size of text and apps on this display , drag slider down towards 50%.

The Black Screen when logging into apps is a simple fix! - Settings/System/Display ....and then reduce size of text, apps and items on this display to about halfway down. Don't worry it barely alters the appearance of the screen, but cures the black fields thing.
I picked one up the other day, I think its an amazing little phone. It certainly doesn't feel 'budget' and has a premium feel to it. Performance is great, amazing for £50
As a long time Android and (up till iOS 7) iPhone user, I fancied a change and wanted to look at W10, I bought a Lumia 1320, which runs a W10 Developer preview, but this has a few issues. This Bush offers similar performance while offering better stablility.
Dual SIM is a nice touch. Camera is surprisingly good. Speaker, while not Brilliant is not weedy either (the thing that annoys me most about phones is a crap speaker!) Bit tinny but heard much worse, and not hugely loud, but not quiet either.
Value for money is stonking here! In the Box Phone, Battery, Charger, 2 x battery covers, 1 x Gel Case, 1 x Screen Protector - All for £50 is phenomenal. I'd choose this over a Moto E all day long.

Had to take this back to Argos - I couldn't make calls, and kept taking the battery out. I also had the issue with the apps going black when searching too. Gone back to an old S3 knocking about.

Can you run DOS applications on this?

I don't think so, as I haven't seen anything regarding a DOS Emulator - the thing is if you did what would you be wanting to run from DOS?

Okay but have you done the reset on the handset, as it needs it from what I've seen and read about online - also which apps specifically are you having problems with as well, as it may be a quick fix to get you sorted out.
Dependent upon how you purchased the handset - instore Argos purchase, order via eBay Argos Store, etc - you could potentially take it back for a full refund but you would need to check up on the returns policy for Argos if it was purchased instore.

Can anyone offer any feedback on how this phone performs in use. I am ok with windows phone as have had a Nokia lumia 620 for three years. Poor battery life has forced me to look at an update. Have been trialing android on an old xperia sp but except for the app store I am not a fan. Unfortunately have broken the screen on the xperia so need something quick.

I haven't been able to use mine that much, I'm all over the place with the painkillers I've got thanks to my accident, but I was able to get two days out of it after updating the OS, resetting it and switching off any extra options I don't use that much (i.e. Bluetooth, Wifi, etc) - of course I'm switching my network connection between 2G & 3G as well.
All of my music media is stored locally (I have an order for a MicroSDXC Card) and I do run the Battery Saver a lot as well, just to get as much juice as a I can out of the battery.
The annoying thing for me is a I'm struggling to find any spare batteries that you can purchase for it - I would assume that it's battery is the same used as the one in the Archos 50 Cesium but I don't have that info confirmed yet, as I have emailed Bush Technical Support but haven't had a response yet.

Right now I'm looking at purchasing a Bluetooth Keyboard to pair up with my handset - HUKD Member woldranger states on another thread deal that he's purchased one from eBay for £9.74p (including free delivery).
I'm going to see about purchasing one today and once it comes through I'll see what performance I get with pairing it up with the Bush Eluma Handset - I only need it, as I'll be responding a lot more online whilst on the move (once I'm better! LOL) as I'm trying to get a job sorted out.

I've expired my deal thread to allow this one to run as the new main one - got it done last night, as unfortunately I was in hospital for the last few days.
Good news that it dropped in price but sod's law that it happened after myself, my friend who needed it for his work and a heap of other mates have bought that at the original deal price of £69.95p!
I disagree, as a number of OEMs are producing handsets supporting the Windows 10 Mobile OS - I will state though that yes the applications and utilities pool is smaller than Android or Apple but the support is increasing, especially with regards to getting updates for the Mobile OS from Microsoft.
At the end of the day it's all down to everybody's personal requirements and I'm finding the Windows 10 Mobile OS as being spot on for the level of support I need, along with integration with my online accounts but also with connectivity with my computer systems.

Just bought myself one, as I'm at the stage where I ain't bothered what operating system it has and have fallen out of love with Android. It's easy to set up, and I've linked all my email accounts and calenders to it. It'll do the job for me.
I backed some text messages up on my old Android phone, and was wondering can I restore them on a Windows one?

It depends if the android phone will allow it. The app required for transferring texts...etc is 'Transfer My Data', search for it in the store if it isn't already pre.-installed.

Is Google Maps available for this phone? I find that it's traffic data gets me from A to B quicker than any other SatNav App.

Looks like the gMaps App will do the job. Anyone using this App? Does it work in landscape orientation? Any drawbacks? I've reserved the phone for collection from my local Argos. Thanks OP. Heat added.
It's similar. The SD210 processor is basically a slightly slower version of the SD400 in your Lumia 735, but it's not really noticeable when using the phone.
The Bush has more internal storage (16GB vs. 8GB). The main camera is higher resolution on the Bush, but the quality is not as good as the camera on the 735.
The Lumia also has some extras from Microsoft Mobile, like an equaliser.

I think as a work phone they are fine.
The greatest aspect of Windows Mobile used to be the Here Maps with free global maps and great sat nav for free. The best app on Windows Phone has been killed. Can you trust Microsoft when they let things like this happen?
As a business phone it is fine, but as a personal phone I think Windows Mobile is dead.

Here map data, online and offline, and voice navigation is all included in the Windows Maps app on Windows 10. The maps app was recently refreshed with a new UI, and is significantly faster than the HERE maps app for WP8.1.
