Tempted, but then not so as the latest reviewer gives this just 1*.

Hi, I did give it 1* while it does work as a basic cam you can control remotely with your mobile (iPhone 6 in my case) and has night vision, I can't get it to send email alerts and can't confirm motion detection, so while a bit harsh, it doesn't do what it says on the tin.
I have emailed support and if I can get it working, will update the review, otherwise it's going back.

Received this yesterday, managed to set up ok though the instructions seem to be translated English.
Quality is good and the pictures really good during daylight and nighttime.
Things I'd point out:
Volume picks up static noise when room is empty so you may find yourself muting it if in work for example.
If using for pets and moving the camera lens side to side it does make a noise that pets may react to.
You can mount it anywhere but may find yourself restricted due the power cable, it doesn't run on Batteries so may limit your placement options.
Overall though I'd say it's worth the price

Is the guy in the photo "walking like an Egyptian"
I nearly bought one last year for about £14, but I read quite a few reviews which really put me off, although I also read there was a new version coming out which maybe might address some of the problems purchasers were complaining about.
I'm sold! ... it can be powered by any phone battery bank as it only requires 5V 1 Amp.
This gives the unit many possibilities as it's not tied to a power supply.
I'm ready to order this one at £19, has anyone got an opinion on this camera. I'd use it for my dogs.

No pan and tilt on the cheaper one, which I guess that's why it's cheaper.

I like how the burglar in the picture is clearly a ninja. On official ninja business.

Been looking for a camera that can be controlled with an Iphone app. App does look a bit ropey, but this seems to fit the bill. Thanks for posting.

Should I be wary of the single, paid, Amazon review?
