Good if you dont want the full collection, which you can buy for £11.99 if you choose.

I remember getting the Mega Drive for Christmas, then the Mega CD...futuristic technology!
...Then I got a PlayStation and that was that. Remember my mate at the time had a chipped one and had a dodgy copy of Resident Evil 3 which stopped working at a critical moment, unlucky!

I don't know how old you are, but I'm getting on a bit and I've bought and owned literally hundreds of retail priced console games over the last quarter of a century, so for me, downloading old rom files of my games is legal because I own the cartridge/tape/disc originals.
For those that don't own them though, I believe these titles should be archived and free to play like a public library, and by the lack of court threats by all game producers besides Nintendo over GameCube and Wii titles, I don't think Sega could care less if someone has a hankering to play Sunset Riders or Hellfire should they wish.
Also, some old games and machines are near impossible to find, so would you prefer they get lost in the annals of history or get enjoyed?
There are only 5 packs for 1.37 each making 6.85 so wouldn't advice buying the whole collection for 11.99. great price heat added

I feel like the packs don't have the sonic games and I haven't checked but there may be others. So the 11.99 might still be preferable.

Unless you're not bothered about ToeJam & Earl, in which case get the separate packs and then get all the Sonic games from the Humble Bundle because for $10 you'll get all of those (assuming Spinball and Sonic & Knuckles are added tomorrow) plus all the other Sonic games available on Steam.

remember its highly likely the sonic games will unlock tomorrow from the sonic humble middle tier(assuming you bought it last week) which is why i held off these megadrive ones till then.

Just download an emulator and all the roms for free.
Sega doesn't care and most of the companies that made the games don't even exist anymore, so they're not losing out.

I find it a bit much that my intel i5 2.20ghz 8gb, a usually pretty capable laptop struggles badly to run the sega hub. I would buy games for it if I could get it to run better, Like Gunstar Heroes, a game I sold on Ebay recently for £65.

Would love to play Road Rash again, anyway if it's possible? Loved that game.
Remember sega megadrive games now have steam workshop support. Some cracking mods and hacks on there already.

Needed 2 from the first pack, bought the rest of the packs, already had all the sonic games, but bought both toe jam and earl games. Was 10.44 so barely cheaper than buying the whole pack. Sonic CD appears as a standalone game in Steam for me.

does anyone else have a problem with this app ? it will barely load up the TV page to select games on my tablet, wouldn't of thought it needed that much power ?

Is there a real difference between this and a rom versions?
I owned a lot of those games on the mega drive, even bought streets of rage 1&2 on the 3ds again. I don't see why I should have to buy them again

I owned a lot of those games on the mega drive, even bought streets of rage 1&2 on the 3ds again. I don't see why I should have to buy them again
You don't have to buy them again, it's just an option for people.
That does look really cool actually. Definitely more appealing now
