My rose tinted glasses must still be working as, for me anyway, a lot of them still look the business. Just been playing Sonic CD and last night I was having a blast on Starfox/wing. Absolute corkers, still hold up. I find the Playstation/N64 era to be a lot harder on my eyes than from the SNES/Megadrive era.

Love old Mega Drive games, and this collection has some real classics; the Sonic games, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Toejam & Earl......
However I recently picked up a Handheld Megadrive 30 in 1 console from Argos licenced by Sega, and it has a SD card slot allowing you to download ROMs and every Mega Drive game ever made will comfortably fit onto a 2GB SD card.......
Also the Mega Drive was far superior to the SNES... #justsaying

No no its not... i have over 1000 unplayed games due to buying bargains and then i only play new games that i buy on release. It just gets addictive for some reason.
Only buy what you wanna play. I have like 200 games in my steam inventory including dlc packs which i just cba to play because newer games are released all the time.
You only have limited time dont waste time playing crap. Get a decent pc and buy the games you really wanna play.

This very bundle has never been on sale for that price the collections have which there are 5 of and include 10 games each this bundle has all 5 collections
Only if you can't wait. This very bundle has been sold for under £2 a few times over the years, let along the individual packs.

On the subject of retro games, can anyone remember the name of a 1980-81 game in the arcades in which you play as a paintbrush and had to colour in squares.
You are aware that Republic of Korea terminology incorporates BOTH North Korea as well as South Korea right?.

People love taking the moral high ground acting holier than holy on here so I wouldn't worry about it, I made a similar comment a while back about emulators and everyone jumped on the bandwagon about how wrong it is to steal things, hence why I don't post on here anymore, I agree though get an emulator, these games are 30 years old, you'd be a fool forking out for them imo, spend your money on more important things in life, like food and rent and treating your girl.

These games would probably work on a PC from early 2000's because it's 16bit titles which basically any device can play.

If you're touting theft as a viable alternative to purchasing something then you'll probably have to vote every single deal on this site cold...

I'm personally not feeling this anywhere near that price to be honest.
That said, it might be worth mentioning the free Call of Juarez and Asteroid Bounty Hunter keys with the purchase.

I'll skip this deal. I buy retro games from time to time, hotly anticipating replaying the great games from my youth, and I'm almost always disappointed. I usually just can't get past how appalling the graphics are. I'd rather play a modern game with reasonable graphics and reasonable gameplay than an oldie with horrendous graphics and fantastic gameplay.
Shallow? Yeah, probably.
I played pretty much all of them when they were new, though, so I prefer to remember them fondly than try them again and end up tainting my memory of them.
Heat added, though. Great price for some absolute classics.
I had over a hundred games in my steam library before I got myself a pc (well actually I had a really crappy old pc, but I never bothered to install Steam on it).
It's worth picking up bargains and adding them to your account before you get your pc set up - it's great when you set up your computer, install the steam client, and have access to loads of games.
At that point you'll pick a handful to download and play right away, and download the others over the next few days/weeks.

You'd be far better downloading an emulator and the entire Mega Drive back catalogue. With the amount of money I sunk into these games back in the day, I'd never shell out more money to play them again.

Constantly good. For instance, there's a major sale at least three times a year where pretty much everything is on sale. Summer (next week in fact), Autumn and Winter. And often others - they had a Lunar New year sale this year.

It seems a bit steep for a lot of naff games and a few gems. Most people will likely be better off buying some individually. Streets of Rage 2, Gunstar Heroes, and Beyond Oasis are the best of this bunch.:sunglasses:
