2 of the Toshiba 2TB left in Irvine about an hour ago - they are £40 but have an old yellow sticker on the front of the plastic "don't steal me" box with a higher price - barcode on the actual packaging scans at £40 though, I checked on the self scanner that is handily right in front of the shelf with the hard drives on it!

I got the last 2 Seagates for £45 though, also none left in Ayr, was told there was a couple showing up in Kilmarnock as well.

They have 2 x 2tb and 1 x 1tb in Cardiff road, newport right now.

they were £30 @Sainsbury's last year

Thanks OP, today bought one at Reading, Portman Way and two at Reading, Napier Road - none left in both stores.
So there are some around - just need to be lucky.

Probably the best portable 2TB drives - true SATA drives that can be removed (although not easily) for use elsewhere unlike WD or Toshiba that use crippled drives with no SATA interfaces.

Got one at Prescot around midday they had two left.

I picked the last one up at my local branch. It was marked at £70. Couldn't use my CC boost vouchers that I printed as computer hard drives are excluded although flash drives seem to be in the boost campaign but Customer Services took pity on me and put it through anyway. Sometimes Tesco staff deserves some credit.

I got the last one in the Ashford Park Farm store. Using it on my XBOX One and ready for the Slim model for when that comes out.

Why don't you call the store beforehand to check if they have it in store?

Gutted I haven't been able to pick one of these up have tried all the Extra stores in the north east... Do the normal sized stores sell them as well?
