Possibly cheapest this has been? just £6.50 now for this flash stick.
- Transfer large photos, videos or other files up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0
- Fast transfer speeds (up to 190 MBps)
- USB 3.0 enabled (USB 2.0 compatible). Online backup (up to 2 GB optionally available) offered by YuuWaa
- Secure file encryption and password protection with included SanDisk SecureAccess software.
What is the write speed? Presume that 190 is reading.

The SanDisk Ultra 32 GB USB Flash Drive USB 3.0 - up to 100 MB/s is only£7.95. Not as fast transfer speeds according to the review (slow write, fast read) but good value if you're not in such a hurry
For anyone considering one to use PortableApps with, this runs it flawlessly.

I'd almost forgotten about portableapps. What are popular portable apps to use nowadays?

If you don't want to wait for this or are on Prime, make sure to select Amazon packaging when you checkout, otherwise you'll wait until 7th June for delivery. I changed mine from frustration free to Amazon box and it's now coming tomorrow (I'm on Prime).

I got the 32gb previous version from Argos a couple of months ago for this price. How fast does it really need to be?

Probably the fastest usb drive,
This makes all others look slow
- your average usb stick does 15meg/sec or less
I get 100 meg/sec writes from these...

Likely these will continue to drop in price before USB 3.1 Gen 2 becomes the new 'extreme' (and if you have supporting hardware to match)

Do you have any info when Gen 2 USB sticks or in fact anything will become available?
I'm fed up of waiting to plug stuff into my MoBo.

Very handy for moving large files around quickly and easily.

I used to do this via a custom script 20 years ago but I'm sure there is good Freeware that will handle that these days. I can only suggest a Google search.
Bought two and was quite impressed with the CrystalDiskMark results I got.
I'm sure you could create a really basic batch file that runs a robocopy command to copy a directory/location to the USB, and then create a scheduled task in windows for it to run said batch file every week, etc? (If you're on Windows that is)
