The price was not coming down much whilst it remained the highest capacity card, which is thankfully no longer the case.
We're not far off 1TB storage on a smartphone at this rate.

Do I really need 200gb storage for my phone? Nope. Would it be useful for when I'm travelling so I can fill it with movies and back up all my photos from my dslr onto the card (as well as external hdd's obviously)? Yup. Did I just buy a few of the 128gb sandisks with my clubcard vouchers? Yup! Phew, that's saved me this time but I'm sure I'll pick one of these up soon enough!

I'm pretty confident that most people buying this card will already have the bulk of the data on it elsewhere (PC).
Mine is to store my 130gb music library on the go, 'cause I never know what I fancy listening to so I want the whole lot with me.
Of course it's all on my PC too.

might be a great price but why would you need a 200gb card in your phone. the phrase " done put all your eggs into 1 basket comes to mind ". use a smaller one and back it up regularly. too much space a waste and discourages you from backing up regularly

A few complaints have been made about dell's top of the range chromebook 13 (released late '15) which has replaced the standard sd slot with a micro. This should shut em up a bit and grant extra storage in the process. If I had the dellCB13 you would have had me at hello

Might as well be a lifetime warranty, data is irreplaceable and I wouldn't be sending my data off for repair/replacement.

X1 can format cards itself (It's always best to format a memory card on the device that'll be using it, phone, DAP*, or camera)
All music is already stored on my PC, so I'll just download a fresh set onto the card before installing in the X1.
*DAP = Digital Audio Player, which is what the X1 is.

orderd heat added expect there bring out a 256GB version soon to match the recent Integral 256GB. However expect that will be premium price. I used a britishgas fix and reward £50 amazon vouncer so got this free bargain.

Neither am I and seeing as my device will be on me if a bomb takes it out, losing some files will be the least of my problems.
Don't these come with a 10 year warranty? You're hardly gambling your money with that level of support. And blah blah blah lot of data to lose etc etc... Any data you don't want to lose is a lot 200gb is pretty easy to have regular backups of.

Scorching hot, wait for this one to get some serious heat! Previous lowest price on camelx3 was aroud 80 quid so just got one for my audio player now that I've just finished converting my music collection to FLAC.
Yes, they will obviously do down over the next year like almost all technology, but as of today this deal has set a new baseline for high capacity SD card prices (128gb one is £28 too).
