Seems like a good price for this tablet. Low resolution screen, but 4:3 aspect ratio should be OK for web browsing & e-reading.
9.7" 1024 x 768 screen
16GB ROM with Micro SD slot
2GB RAM
4G LTE
Quidco tracking at £10.

buy it on the refresh tariff with £24.99 upfront and £3 a month device payment on the 10gb plan and the total is £96.99. just cancel the plan in the cooling off period and pay off the device in full

does this definitely work? I'm thinking of doing it for a new phone.

Got my tablet today on the pay monthly refresh deal . scratch on the back of the unit , front is as new . Wouldn't call it grade A . Also it came unlocked so got my EE 24gb data sim in it . It's a good tablet for the price .

If you want a data sim look up on eBay this item number 231185153561 it's 12 gb on three network and lasts 1 year . So that's 1gb a month if you use more than 1gb in a month it moves on to the next months 1gb . Or if you want 24gb so 2gb a month for a year then there's this sim it's on EE network but abit more expensive , item number 152132266035. I got the EE sim and when I get 4g it is quick . I just got 104mbps download speed!

I got the wifi only version of this tablet. I'm mainly an iOS user but I've been impressed considering the price I paid (£139). I only use it for watching movies, web browsing and other light tasks. I installed dead trigger on it to test its capabilities and it did ok but I will definitely stick to gaming on my iPad Mini 2. I know the screen res doesn't seem great but the quality is actually quite surprising, colours are a lot more vibrant than expected. Has also received the Marshamallow update.

Look at the spec of this thing, look at what a disaster of a tablet it is >
What is that resolution all about? This is 2016 not 1986.

It's a budget tablet from a tier 1 manufacturer for people on a budget. If you want 1080p screens buy a no-name Chinese tablet or spend more money.
I did pick up a Tab S2 for £140 from Cash Generator the other day but it's used and rare to find a bargain like that.

Yeah I missed out on a Tab S2 (already have it but need another for the wife/kids). It was £150 cos no box, etc and grade C. Screen was fine though, it was just the housing that was scratched.
You don't just have to be quick with these deals... you've gotta be hot!

It's a bag of crap made by people that know better but want to milk as much £$ from the unsuspecting morons.

Samsung E goes for around the same and has HD screen, Hudl 2 has 2GB RAM and full HD screen, you can pick em up refurbed for like 80 quid, this resolution in 2016 is just unacceptable. Stop defending it, if you can buy 100 quid, 3 year old laptops with full HD screens they can afford to put them on 'premium' products like Samsungs

Remember that this is 4G, I am personally very tempted, put a three data sim in this and use it abroad on a holiday.

The Tab E is a much lower spec and class of tablet compared to the Tab A. Have you seen the display on the Tab E? It's not good. The Tab A has a 4:3 aspect display and comes with a pen, it's squarer. If you want an 'HD display' for movies then maybe the Tab E is a better deal but just because it has one doesn't instantly mean it's better.
You are also aware that 3-year old laptops that 'happen' to sell for £100-ish now weren't planned to be sold by the manufacturer for this price - that's a bit like saying you can get a 10-year old BMW 7-series for £2,000 so all cars should come with V8 engines, satnav and leather seats as standard.

You can easily find worse tablets for more money at places like Argos, Amazon and eBay.

I was thinking of buying one. I won't lie, mainly the price drew me in. But then I read Fishmaster's comments about being a moron if you bought one.
I've tried Bush before too.

Agreed the E is a worse tablet, all round, but the fact that a crappier, cheaper Samsung tablet has a HD screen and this doesnt, or my Hudl 2 that you can pick up for 50-70 used now, has one, just shows that these companies are taking the mick selling 1300x760 screens, when they could full well afford to use a HD screen
Just cos you can find worse deals, doesnt make this one good

Yep, just ring to cancel the contract within 14 days and offer to pay the settlement fee which equates to the balance due for the device.

Got the tablet earlier today, tested it out. pretty good for the money and far superior to the others I tested from Argos et al.
2gb ram, 16gb storage, unlocked, 4g. nice colourful screen, still good enough for the basics, even YouTube.
the physical home key is a much welcomed feature and a permanent preference for me (which is why I'm so happy with my galaxy tab s2).
all in all, I'd recommended it to anyone looking for a budget device within this price range. not really for the gamer or HD buff but for a lot of others it'll be just fine.
Thanks again op.

Does this come sealed as if its brand new? I.e. if i want to give this as a present to someone, would it be sealed and packaged as if its new or is it obvious its a refurbished tab?

No it's packaged in a cardboard sleeve and it's obvious it's s refurb . You only get the usb lead and mine was a Sony usb lead . There is no mains charger .
