Sainsbury's basic cola range has been reduced to 13p (IIRC it's normally 19p), perfect for cleaning toilets and unblocking drains. Great chilled & perfect for the kids!

What sugar tax?

I don't think there's much sugar in this, it's cheap enough to only have the sweepings from the aspartame production floor, in it

What are you talking about? Where did I suggest it's not good enough for me? It's the carbonation that helps remove limescale not the actual ingredients of the drink used... I really don't get the vibe in here at times...

It wasn't an inane attempt at being clever - it was a valid observation that it can be used as a very cheap limescale remover, I even posted a link to prove the point...
I really don't understand people in here...

This is cheaper than bottled water, it's also carbonated and can be used to remove limescale from toilets. I also drink water...

its not the co2 in the pop its the phosphite acid which gets rid of limescale and cleans coins.
used to used the acid in a pop factory for 13 years cleaning the bottle washers filters of limescale.

As my Dad was always fond of saying when I was a child, as he sated his thirst with embarrassingly cheap Co-Op Diet cola, 'It's cold and it's wet'. Have some heat :sunglasses:
