Good price but but the toners seem to cost a ton,
cheapest I found for a set of 4 is nearly £170 :-(

good price shame toners so expensive for it.

Apparently comes with 1,000 pages (at 5% coverage) starter toner cartridges, so should be very good for low use scenarios (eg: < 50 pages a month). Use it for 2+ years and then recycle it.
Generic replacement toners cost more than four times as much (relative to capacity) as the ones that I use on my old Dell colour laser at £115 delivered for a full 2,000 pages set.

Please note, whilst it's cheap, feature-rich and produces decent printing results, this thing is HUGE. It's basically an office printer and weighs over 20kg.

I keyed in the model number in Ricoh US and the printer is not even listed. Don't buy it. Just in case it won't talk to your laptop or machine in no time. The one I bought (found in here as well ) is now obsolete. NO MORE driver/software support. Research well before you plunge. Keep your receipt.

Disposable. When ink run out the printer goes to landfill.
£50/1000 = 5p per print. Not so cheap.
3 years ago Dell did trade in and the printer was almost free. I purchased a new printer, took the7000 toner drum out and traded in the new printer for another and kept doing this. Great scam.
I am still using the Ricoh and haven't run out of toner yet, the Dell is still boxed up.
Edit: Actually you may have bought after me, as they did run out of the Ricoh, I was one of the last few people who got both printers. They then put the price up again a few days later I think.
i got one a few weeks ago and it's great. it is huge and heavy but works fine on win7 and win10 over Ethernet. I was very pleased to get a duplex colour laserjet. I don't print frequently so my inkjet printers always dried up

3 year warranty to start and dropped 1 year later on. When I sold the Ricoh, I made a profit.
I now have unused printers without drum/toner units or almost empty. I will use my third toner soon.
The printer is good and jams are rare.
I wonder if there will be another tradein deal so I can use these!
It seems the toners are chipped so not so cheap to refill as one needs to buy a new chip.

I print off PDFs all the time?...
This is a massive printer, it also takes a while to warm up before actually printing which is a bit annoying if you just want one page.
Ive had mine for a while with Windows 10 and working fine except I can't seem to get it to work over LAN.

My friend works for Ricoh and has done for 10 years and got one of these for himself and myself. We had more toner, all free, than we could ever wish for. This was a few years ago, but I eventually gave mine away because when I moved directly from Windows XP to Windows 7 many moons ago, the driver on the Ricoh website would not install, and my father, being older, was left on XP the longest as he knew where everything was and I left it until the last minute to put him straight onto Windows 8 by that time (Ricoh had a driver for that which also never worked). Even my friend at Ricoh gave up with his own one because he admitted that the drivers for Win 7 and Win 8 could not be successfully downloaded from the site.
That is only my own personal experience but I would suggest Googling the printer number and the word "driver" and to try and install and unzip the driver for this printer. If it works then we were both doing something very wrong at the time, or Ricoh have changed them and made them right. The printer itself takes a minute to gather it's thoughts and then is super fast, as a laser printer is expected to be. The tray fits pretty much a full pack of paper and the toner cartridges are pretty big and last quite some time.

I press Print in Adobe Reader & Foxit Reader and select the printer and it prints.
When looking at PDF files online, Chrome automatically opens them and I print through chrome as well.

i don't usually need colour much but want the feature available when I need it rather than going to the Internet cafe all the time for one print.
i want to buy the above printer but was wandering, does the colour cartridge and black and white cartridge come separate?
if not will all the black ink be used up before the colour ink? i don't want to throw away a cartridge full of colour ink just because the black ink has been used up
anyone help?

A week later Ebuyer dropped the price and it worked out they actually paid you a couple quid after all cashback to take it, which I did only once and traded in my old Epson so got two printers with toner and got paid to have them, though the cashback did take a while. http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/dell-3330dn-mono-duplex-network-printer-174-99-less-75-dell-cashback-less-100-dell-1562434
