Your so lucky to play all of these for the first time espesially for this cheap. Make sure you play RE4. One of the best games of all time.

Yeah, you can download them separately. You can also delete any game once finished and redownload again later as many times as you like.

Don't usually download games, can anyone tell me if you'd be able to download the games separately or if you have to download as one?

can understand sony preventing People from buying the same game again but resident evil 5 is only linked though your ps plus subscription​. i would contact support to have the game licence removed so you can go a head and buy this bundle.

Say what you want about RE6 but the combat is one of the best third person shooters ever.

Resi 1 on PS1 was the first game I played on the console (on a mates because I couldn't afford a PS1 at the time!). First game that actually scared me (except maybe aliens on the spectrum 128k).

Well are voting based on the price, if you want it that bad add another account to your console.

Playstation should do what Steam does and includes discounts to bundles if you already own any of the included games.

Resident Evil 1, 2 & 3 are PS1 games so they don't have trophies.The rest have trophies but only 5, 6 & Operation Racoon City have a Platinum trophy.

Resi 6 does not in any way deserve the abuse it get's. People just jump on the bandwagon half the time. It's not perfect and not the best in the series but I maintain it's a decent game.

Nice one, thanks. I was late to the party with the originals so I've never completed them. I had the N64 as a kid, and going back to play the originals with orignal controls was frustrating. I loved 4 and 5.

Exactly. Should only take a few minutes, doesn't cost anything extra (obviously), and you can play - with trophies - on your main account.

And if you have a gmail account, you can use the "dot trick", so Sony - and many others - treat silver.condor and silvercondor as two different accounts, but all communication is actually going to the one email address.

Have they updated the early Resident Evil controls? That was what always put me off playing them.

yea had this problem the last time it was on offer. Oh well I have all the ps1 games on disc still and can play them on my phone and pc at better quality than the psn offerings. Sony's loss

I just have to come in here and add; Resident Evil 5 was distinctly average....6 was one of the worst games i've ever attempted to play. Abysmal.

i cant buy cos i already bought the unmbrella chronicles and darkside chronicles from last time they were on sale..(i'm still yet to play mind..!) when i had PS+ (whihc i no longer have, so the RE5 isnt the issue for me)

RE4 from what i have read is generally considered much better than RE5 however i only played RE5 for about 1 hour think i remember the controls feeling a little stiff (maybe i liked RE4 so much as it worked so well with the wii controller) and i was not really into the daylight setting.

Am getting Re4 when it gets released on ps4 was thinking of getting RE5 again to try since they are meant to be very similar game play wise. Games like Bioshock and Borderlands i could not get into first time round then ended up years latter loving them.

Interesting! I've noticed a lot of people seem to lump 5 and 6 together - and not in a good way. But it's 4 and 5 that go together in my head. Can't remember a single bloody thing that happens in any of them, right enough, but it's a good excuse to play them all again. Just finished RE0 last week and now playing RE HD on the PS4. Sooooo very good.

I wouldn't publicly state it because I'd have potatoes thrown at me. But I actually prefer 5 to 4. You just have to fabricate the truth slightly when you know the outcome :smile:

Seriously though, give 5 another shot. Especially if you've got a PS4/Xbox One.

I will probably end up agreeing with this the first one i tried was RE5 some years back. I could never get into RE5 it just seemed like a COD game with zombies then i tried RE4 on the wii few months ago what a brilliant game that is so well made i think it's the atmosphere/settings that sets it apart from RE5 as people say they have similar game mechanics.
I have briefly tried a few other RE games and have not gotten into them that much but still too early to judge.

The only Resi game I have on PS3 is the Gold Edition of 5 and I got it through PSPlus ages ago and the error message comes up. Why does Sony not want our money?

No worries, dude. Surprised no one else picked up on it! I've browsed through the 300+ Big in Japan games a few times now, and it really stood out.

Jonathan on Dealspwn wrote a really good review of RE6 when it was first released, suggesting it was entirely enjoyable - so long as you approached it with no expectations. I suppose, in a sense, it was a victim of the success of RE4 and RE5. I mean, say The Order had zombies and was sold as RE7, it'd be mocked relentlessly rather than being embraced as an oddly endearing hidden gem. Likewise, at this stage, no one's ready to accept a GTA game that's just pretty good, but people (myself included) have time for lesser sandbox games like Sleeping Dogs and Watch Dogs.

Oh man. I remember it was a day one purchase for me on the PS3. I still remember it turning up on launch day (a Shopto purchase I believe). The disappointment :disappointed: I wouldn't even have it in me to play it on the PS4, the intention was always to start with 5 and then 4.

I was kind of hoping for a little launch price drop on RE5 yesterday with the Big in Japan sale, but unfortunately that didn't happen. I am really looking forward to experiencing it again though. It looked amazing on the PlayStation 3.

​ps4 can't take external drives for games, you can upgrade the internal drive tho. the Xbox takes external but can't upgrade internal
