Thanks but I have a laptop I use and plug it into a monitor and keyboard/mouse. Its just VPN so I'm logging into my desktop in the office so that has all the power and does all the work.
It is 80 quid more, but if you want a cheap, low power home PC, then you need the extra power, I would say this tab is good for browsing, a little processing and maybe the odd youtube, but it is not powerful or big enough to replace a pc, even a casual work-from-home one
The deal I linked above ends in like 20 hours, so if you'll have to make your mind up
I do not think this has HDMI, no, its a small tablet

Does it have HDMI out? Thinking of using as a low power work from home machine.

Depends what for, personally I have a hudl 2 with 2GB RAM which is amazing, I spose if its only for light stuff 1GB will do you fine, but I have my Hudl filled with 16GB of apps and nearly 32GB of SD storage ^^ so for me 2GB was needed

I was quite keen on this until I noticed 1gb ram. It's just not enough these days. Still a great price though so heat for that.

Yeah could be that partly, this has a free WIn10 upgrade as all Win8 formats do until end of July, I think it is?

I thought it was because Windows 10 is free on these devices, and Intel were giving away the SoC's or very cheap? Not sure.

Get this, or something like this, install RemixOS, an Android OS for Windows tabs, and you can have both the functions of Windows AND the play store and apps of Android

Why are large capacity windows devices so cheap compared to android? Shame as this device looks awesome otherwise, I'm not anti ms, just want the android eco for now...
