Nope, they just say that the order is cancelled. If I still want to purchase the item, I have to do so at the new price.

​i wonder if one could challenge this with consumer regulation, cause I am pretty sure a shop has to honour sale at the advertised price, regardless of the shop T&C..

This kind of thing has been talked about time and time again on here and I think the answer is no they don't. I'm no expert though and wish you were correct as my order was cancelled too and I'm in desperate need of either a new NAS or a set of hard drives for my current one.

They still have it advertised at £274.99. Try their on-line chat. Seems a little rude to be still offering it for sale and sending out cancellation emails at the same time.

They actually raised it and then dropped it again!



My order was originally cancelled but I noticed the price drop again so reordered and unexpired this deal. Looks like it's gone up again since then - I'm hoping maybe it will go through this time (although I'm sure the second cancellation email will come through soon :disappointed: )

I got my email this morning of cancellation, but can they really cry "error!" twice on the same item?

If I went to buy something on Monday, and they tell me Tuesday sorry mistake cant sell it was wrong price. I accept that. If then I come back on Thursday and it is that price again, I buy it, and on Friday they try to cancel my order again? Surely not.

I got my cancellation email again too - I think doing it twice adds a bit more weight to the argument but at the end of the day they made a mistake and will point to their T's & C's. Might be worth contacting them to see if they can do anything but just don't get your hopes up. I may try and contact them later if I can summon the energy! Thank you, long time lurker but this really irked me =)

I tried to speak to them, was trying to be friendly and try to get some kind of reasoning out of them but just had a Robot and Supervisor Robot say "I understand, I cannot help. These are our T&Cs". I kid you not no matter what angle I tried to present my argument from, I got that reply 6-8 times. So I would not waste any energy on them.

Thanks for the update - I suspected this would be the case, worth a try but I guess it was too good to be true! Think of it as £247.99 saved :smile:

Mine also cancelled. I would like to have your positive outlook but as I was about to drop £160+ on a pair of WD 3TB Reds anyway, to replace the drives in my dated TS-210, I'm finding it hard to see this as a saving I'm happy about!

Cancellation received here too...admittedly I'm also wondering how they can mis-price the same item twice in a very short period of time but then again I guess it's Amazon and they think they can do what they want when they want and at the end of the day they really don't care if customers don't like it.

Had a similar issue when contacting them about the vivoactive HR watch, they were adamant that they had never sold the watch for £177 even though a good few people off here had purchased it at that price!!

*phew*, thought i'd missed a massive bargain here, been waiting for a good deal on the 251+ and sods law it came up the 1 week in a year I was offline!!!

Gutted for those who went for it and lost out though...!
