The game is currently available to purchase in the PlayStation Store, but according to thePlayStation Blog, it shouldn't be. When the PS Blog posted its weekly PS Store update, it listed Psychonauts with a release date of June 7 - today. However, the post was soon amended, and currently reads, "Psychonauts is coming out soon, but not this week. Apologies for the error. Stay tuned for final timing!"
So either someone set the game live early, or someone got the date wrong.
Not sure when it will be released on EU PSN

Yes a port would have been better. But simpler & less work than providing an emulated PS2 version? highly unlikely.

Thats what i'm saying. A port would have been better. Why would anyone want to play these PS2 games in their original state?

It isn't a port, it is the PS2 version running on their emulator.

I don't understand why give the PS2 version? It would have been simple and probably even less work for them to just port the PC version. Its like they want people to play awful ports.

Note that this is the PS2 port of Psychonauts which was a terrible port and people said it's slightly improved for PS4 in this rerelease but still since the PS2 port was really bad it still doesn't look or perform that well

I see this is a PS2 emulated game so I'm wondering whether the UK/PAL version would suffer the 50hz problem.
Better to buy the US version (ie this deal) ?

its strange that it doesn't have a discount being a ps2 remastered game as the last few have all had a discount for the first week for those with plus. waiting to see if it pops up on the European store later with a discount which will make it cheaper than this as this game is the same price as primal which was £5.99 last week with the discount
