This game is absolutely ridiculous in many ways: no single player campaign, an absurdly over-priced season pass, outrageous amount of content locked behind DLC paywalls, steep learning curve, often lengthy load times, tedious and grindy levelling system.

I must admit though, it looks and sounds absolutely amazing (even on PS4) and feels incredibly authentic. The sound design is particularly commendable; the 'vvvuuuumm' of lightsabers (is that a reasonable text representation?) and pew pew of blasters just sound perfect. Gameplay is great too. There's nothing quite like floating around the battlefield as Darth Vader, force throttling rebel soldiers and chucking your lightsaber at Princess Leia!

It's exactly the kind of game I'd normally detest, and if it weren't a Star Wars game I probably would. Indeed I resisted buying it until last month. Fact is, I keep dropping in every few days to play a few games of Heroes and Villains and Walker Assault! It just looks, sounds and feels so good.

If you're even slightly intrigued/tempted, this is a more than reasonable price to give the base game a try.

Can they just make it £9.99 and stick at that price for more than two hours :smile:

Great price, still popular from what I know. At least compared to the PC version which has a terrible player base. Worth a blast with friends or without friends - does become boring after a while but depends on what you want :P

Got this game but only played it a handful of times. I always think I'm missing out....load it up...get bored within 10 minutes. Still, good price

Nah that will be ages yet. Just the "complete edition" will do it. Of course, would be nice to finish it first and then release a complete edition in the first place. But that would just DESTROY GAMING AS WE KNOW IT.....:smirk:

It's less than a round of beers! Let's enjoy it before Star Wars gets run into the floor, just like the Super Hero fad. Now Disney own it, it's nothing more than a cash cow and will be milked dry.

This is a superb game. The large scale battles are really excellent. Most maps well-designed. It has some things that need improving, such as higher level skins and server balancing/selection. But it's of my all-time favourites. Ploughed about 70-80 hours into this since release.

Terrible game not worth it

Why won't the XBONE price come down? Week after week there's a new lower price for PS4 yet XBONE still holding out at double and that's BEFORE the £40 DLC. Annoying.

Honestly don't think this game is so bad, people are willing to spend £40 on a "new" COD every year, but don't seem to like this. Content is being slowly added in, although I understand that it costs extra and is nowhere near enough.

Did anyone else's come unsealed? Looks new but haven't got a new game unsealed since the days when they used be took out of the case and put behind the counter.

Just 3 or 4 map themes. Gets boring real fast. I lasted a day before giving it away.

Hopefully this will be on ea access soon.
