pointless junk, avoid these third party charge stations, unless they use the underside connector to charge them which only the official sony ones do

How would it do that when it doesn't touch the USB port on the controller...it is just a stand, not a charging dock

Only good for keeping your room tidy. Cables supplied are so cheap that wear out your connectors.

These break and warp the charge socket on you controller's. Avoid

I've voted hot but it is a shame the charging cables that actually plug into the controllers aren't coloured red to match the stand.

Just so others are aware this is just a lump of molded plastic that can hold two dualshock 3 controllers. You still have to plug the (provided) cable into the controllers to charge them.

Surely cheap enough for just the cables alone, but wouldn't using any micro usb cable suffice?

Just to give a heads up this is just a pile of plastic to keep the controllers on top only, it does not charge the controllers.

Just seems like clutter. Cold.

You can get ones from Gearbest that do charge controllers for the same price.

It's absolutely fine for what it is: a stand. It's just people expecting it to be something different that is the problem. If you just want a stand with some extra charging cables then no problem....
