Battleborn is getting so cheap. Although i don't think theres a biting point for me. Too much going on on screen most of the time.

Have you even played it? It's not a bad game. There is no reason for this to drop to £9.99. Seems like a smart move if you ask me.

Never should've released so close to Overwatch. Even GAME have dropped the price on this one.

I will give it a blast when it drops to around a tenner, I imagine a 12.95 price will linger for a while though

no i'm not saying its a bad game, think the price has lot to do with releasing it so close to over watch and uncharted 4. my post was more a poor attempt at humor at the usual knack will be on plus next month

I played Overwatch beta which seemed OK but didn't get me hooked like a normal blizzard game.
So many games waiting to play, yet I still come on here and search 'PSN' or 'PS4' mosteoporosis days looking for more bargains!!

Same here , I have a wealth of Unfinished AAA games on PS4 and PC , yet I cannot resist adding another title at "The Right Price" I believe it might be classed as an addiction

The problem is just that Overwatch has it completely dominated. They're different games in terms of mechanics so obviously there are going to be those who prefer Battleborn, but the simple reality is that the risk of releasing it so close to Overwatch has not paid off. I'm sure this won't be the lowest it goes in the coming months.

I thought this game was Overwatch and bought this for £65 with the season pass on the xbox dashboard only to find out this isnt Overwatch and is a terrible game :disappointed:

To be fair, they are MOBA-inspired shooters with one word, three syllable names releasing at the same time from major studios. It's a silly mistake, but I can see how it happened.

It's been released in a bad window and people are comparing it to Overwatch when all it has in common is FPS and Heroes.

The game is a ton of fun, already sunk about 50 hours in to it even with Uncharted 4 dropping after it.

@schnide - You can see how it happened? One is a MOBA-lite in Battleborn, Overwatch is a FPS. Being a three syllable name released a month apart is no excuse of getting games mixed. It'd be like saying it's understandable that Uncharted and Battleborn were mixed up due to both being from major studios with 3 syllable names released at the same time.

I have Battleborn and Overwatch. They are not that similar, Overwatch is great for a quick blast but battleborn has more depth. It's just a thing at the moment to say Battleborn is bad but I bet most of those have not played or don't understand what the game is. Battleborn takes a bit of patience to learn. I buy most of my games digital as too lazy to change discs. I paid £38 for it and don't regret it at all.

I only recommend Battleborn to people for it's local split-screen coop

Including the Season pass that's still not a bad price

I thought moving away from PC to the comfy couch would stop this (As thanks to Steam Sales and Humble bundle i ammassed over 200 games for pittence)

However now I seem to be collecting PS4 games and get more of a buzz opening shrink wrap knowing I got a bargain rather than playing em!

Yes same have 2tb drive in Ps4 and about 4tb for Xbox one.

yep ive got a load of 360 games, load of xbox games, a load of ps3 games and now trying to stop myself buying ps4 games, realistically never gonna give them justice and they just depreciate the minute you buy them

Why all the hate for Battleborn? Also why is no one complaining about the lack of content or storymode in Overwatch? You were gunning for Battlefront and Titanfall for the same reason. Overwatch has some good maps but is lacking in everything else. Capture the objective and escort the payload. It gets old very quickly. There is no progression system. The player gets rewarded nothing but a loot box when ranking up. What does the loot box contain? Cosmetic items only.
So cut Battleborn some slack. You are giving Overwatch a free pass. Let's go back to making up our own minds and not following the herd.

Then by August it will be free on ps plus.

It also cost more to develop than Borderlands 1 and 2 combined. Ouch indeed. Should have just spent that money on Borderlands 3.

Also i still wouldn't recommend this at this price as multiplayer seems like its dead already as a few streams i've watched of this the players were struggling to find a match.

​Have you actually played it? It is difficult to get a game online but it should not be. It's a great game. People will get bored of overwatch soon . I know I am, it has very little content.

The art style, FPS genre, both are MMOs and they came out at the same time will inevitably confuse people. I was used to not knowing which one included a Single Player Story Mode but now I do -- It's Battleborn.

Is the story mode in battleborn any good? I bought DOOM just for the campaign mode when everyone was crying about its MP (which does suck). Overwatch beta was ok to play for a few days but it got boring quickly. I'd prefer if team deathmatch was an option.

Just buy a better game. I dont understand why people are obsessed with playing awful games when theres plenty of other games that actually deserve your time and money. If you really want a single player fps then play something like Wolfenstien the new order which has a good story for a shooter.

Big whoopteedoo. Only reason Battleborn has a story is just to tick the back of the box to say it has it for the sake of having it. Its quantity over quality and the cringefest of its story wont change its awful gameplay.

Well, at least Battleborn will still be playable offline, the same can't be said for Overwatch when the day comes (guess in 4-5 years).

People will still be playing Overwatch for years and by the time it shuts down the servers people will have moved on by then anyway. Not sure how a disposable, tick on the box campaign they threw together in the last minute is a good thing. Multiplayer is almost dead on Battleborn already and i doubt people will want to play its campaign once let alone over and over for years.

So a game can be played offline and see what it could've been if played online than completely ditching a Single Player Mode. I never bothered to play MAG when it was playable online and now I can't because it's completely unplayable due to the online-only restriction.

Why are you posting here if you dislike the game so much then? I am sure there are plenty of Overwatch deals to post on ( oh wait!!!). I have both games btw. Also on Xbox there are plenty of people playing PvP. Takes me about 3 mins to get a game. Battleborn games take about 30 mins and have a lot more depth.
Overwatch is great for a quick blast but can't see myself sinking tons of hours into it.
There are 2 different games so why keep comparing. Do you have shares in Blizzard? Big fan of Hearthstone?
I have no vested interest in either but just can't stand people taking a ridiculous superior standpoint pitching games against each other. Play what you want to play just stop telling people how their choices are rubbish compared to yours. You just picked the most popular choice that's all.
Battleborn is a complicated game to get to grips with and I can understand your average COD player not getting it at all. Overwatch is much more accessible of course.
It's always the same argument from fanboys but let people make up their own mine. We get it, you don't like Battleborn.
