Fantastic app and consistently voted the best music player app on android, now only 50p!
I've had this on my watchlist for some time as its usually 3 or 4 pounds for the full version (rrp $3.99).
You'll need the free trial version installed first and then buy this to unlock the full version. Link in comments

You can use google rewards to pay for this. If you don't have the app then download it and as a bonus for downloading you should get a 50p starter making this free.

My music player of choice over Google play music any day and bought when it was briefly 10p earlier this year. I like the gapless play, the highly customisable EQ settings and the high quality album cover art you can download easily with it.

Frustrating bug means if all your music is in one folder, the app lags and takes ages to skip tracks etc, even on modern phones. Hasn't been fixed in 2 years.

Age is nothing but the fact its so buggy is.
I'm one of the unlucky who's Poweramp got arsey asking for proof of purchase.
No such issues with Media Monkey and it integrates perfectly with the desktop app too.

There's plenty of media players on Android. This is one of them, and it's great. The age of it is completely irrelevant.

It still gets minor updates, but the reason it doesn't get big ones is that they are working on version 3 which is in beta testing phase atm.
Yeah, that is bloody annoying. Aside from that though...

I used to love this app but it hasn't been updated in over 2 years and doesn't support android wear for my smart watch so i've moved over to Black Player (completely free) and its been awesome. Much more modern ui and has some really nice features + android wear full compatibility.

I find this music player very good. Even allows apple remotes to be used with music control and has lots of great features & control.
Not sure about direct cloud music streaming but I know it plays music that has been downloaded from Amazon and Google Play.
Find it interesting that there has been a statement about development being ceased. Comments like this can be very dangerous without the evidence of such a statement backing it up.

one thing that bugs me about this app is that it splits up songs stored in a folder so you have multiple albums with two sings in it, usually greatest hits covers are displayed. if it us in one folder then logically it should know it is one album.

Used to be a great app, but development has ceased since the last couple of years with updates being cosmetic & bug fixes only.
Can't win against the "Its only 50p" argument, but there are apps like Viper4android, which might be slightly tough to install but offers mind-blowing sound enhancement.

Excellent App. As for "too much for me", if you don;t want to use the advanced features, then don't. Even at full price this is excellent, even those wanting a minimal interface. Better than the new Google Music Player which is basically a jeffin shop now.

This app has run its due. Development has ceased and updates are only minor bugfixes. They seem to have disguised it as Neutron player which does 64bit audio if you have compatible hardware.

I've never quite clicked with this, it's just a little 'too much' with all the available settings/adjustments for using as a music player on your phone.
I enjoy listening to music, using good quality headphones, and I like making little adjustments with an equaliser built into the player to get it sounding just right, but this just gives me a headache, though I can imagine there is a market for this player, but not for the average person (in my opinion).
