Why waste your money ..Set your bathroom scales to kilos... check your weight then put your suitcase in your open arms check weight again job done ... very accurate never had a problem i

I take my bathroom scales on holiday like everyone does great idea they can sunbathe and swim in the pool
I've also noticed that some of the 'cheaper' airlines are stricter on the way back, even down to checking in bags one at once - so your kids bag may be light and yours slightly over and they'd hit you for that - rather than all together. well worth the few quid, especially as some of 'our team' don't pack light!

Also bathroom scales aren't always accurate when you use that method. They tend to be most accurate when the weight is falling straight down on them. When you hold a suitcase the weight distribution can be skewed to one edge of the scale, causing inaccuracy. Not a problem when flying with a decent airline who give reasonable leeway, but on budget airlines they can be sticklers :/
And as others have said you can leave this in the suitcase to weigh your cases for the return leg. Even if you have access to a scale on the other end, you can't be sure of the accuracy.
