The sad thing is that #2 ran for 10 weeks at the cinema where I worked in Slough. In it's last week, a 4pm Saturday show had one person it there... me. I'd seen it so many times by then I was able to recite nearly the entire script.

I watched Naked gun the other day, well 2 mins of it and wondered how the hell I ever thought it was funny, I'd imagine the same with this set . Does the new generation find it funny or the old **** like me just havent grown up .:confused:

I still love naked gun, must admit, haven't watched police academy in years but only the first 3 were funny anyway, they really should have given up after

Ironically the actual police have started using this to break suspects - The criminal is placed in a secure room and forced to watch Police Academy 1. He / she is then asked again where they buried the loot. If no answer is forthcoming, Police Academy 2 is loaded up & the process repeated... By the time this reaches Miami Beach 100% of criminals are in tears and divulge the location :laughing:
