My mate is like the number two at Sony Thailand and he said that Uncharted 4 is deffo going to be on PS Plus next month, he correctly predicted that the next console afters PS3 would be PS4, just saying he's got a proven track record.

Agreed. Xbox One gets Banner Saga 2 this month, which is pretty decent considering it comes out July 1st. I have both PS4 and Xbox One, don't understand why people feel the need to compare. They both have off months and great months. For me personally I feel like the GwG have been much better so far in 2016.

Hell, even the image the OP linked to demonstrate Tumblestone is praising it.

Gat out of hell is decent, Furi looks solid (for once), Oreshiika is a great choice (though I already own it) & maybe Fat Princess will be re-populated. Not too bad this month

29 Jun 16 #52
It's abysmal, but I guess you'll find out for yourself soon. I enjoyed the first game and a little bit of the second (but I was 17 then), but they just became so ridiculous. At least, from what I can remember, the first one was a decent contender to GTA, but for me they just feel really cringe, like they'd just given up on trying to be serious at all (a little fun is ok, but c'mon). But if you like that sort of thing then who am I to judge.

29 Jun 16 1 #67
Not fussed by Saints Row at all. Not since I played #3 and it was all dick jokes and ended up in space and zombies running around the place. Was just **** up.

NBA 2K16 in June though was nice. Already had it but it allowed me to sell my hard copy early.
Snakeyes646

I think July is pretty average for both Sony & Microsoft, I do wonder when the sad day will come where PS3 won't get any PS Plus games and then probably the Vita (the poor Vita, best handheld in my opinion)

Saw an article today saying that Sony make over 800 million a year purely from ps+. Surely this means that they could provide better games. Agree that nbk last month was a good newish title, although I don't like sports games or was still a good free game, but for the last 4 months that I have been a member most of the freebies I have tried have been deleted relatively quickly afterwards.

Broforce is still going strong however that's great fun

20 million subscribers (as they said today) x £40 = £800million.

However, very few of us pay £40 for our subs, plus the deductions for retailer profit, VAT, taxes etc..
So think of a number and you might be close, or way off...who knows.
hass123
29 Jun 16 #78
A good number of us HUKDers got that 15 for 12 months deal judging by the heat, but yeah most get it for below £35 like those ElectronicFirst and CDKeys deals and sometimes sub 30
moneysavingkitten
29 Jun 16 #79
Ah that makes sense I guess. I was wondering about profit because that sounded pretty high. That's true, I have never paid full price for a sub. But then I suppose there are people who pay more for the 3 month subs too.

Yes. Revenue & profit are not the same thing.
Let alone the fact that the revenue from PS+ is (I imagine) far less than £800million. As I say when you deduct retailer margin, VAT etc...

I'm not defending Sony but to say that that make £800 million is probably wide of the mark.

And this is before we discuss how much they pay to the developers/publishers.

The install once you start the game takes a while, it took 3 hours for me to install the full game, and it is great! Plays so beautifully and so much detail, from the pre match/half time/post match shows every game to the good looking cheerleaders. It's a shame this level of detail is not included in the other 2k game wwe 2k series, although 2k16 was a big step up from 2k15 it still feels nowhere near as well done as nba 2k16

I've only played 2 and 4. I really liked the second. But the 4th one was just absolutely abysmal.

Apart from contrarians and hipsters does anyone actually like indie games?

I think there should be an option.

A few crappy Indie games every month or an AAA every two months. Sick of this crap.

I think it would cost way less for Sony to give away Knack compared to newly, unreleased games like Furi or Rocket League.

They don't do it specifically because that creates a mindset of people saying 'I'll wait for game X to be free on PS Plus. This was very well pronounced on Vita, after they gave away Uncharted, Gravity Rush, and Wipeout the moment PSPlus became a thing on Vita, you'd see so many people refuse buying Vita games because the Plus version happening was a given at that point.

The key takeaway is that 'you' shouldn't spoil anyone, be it your partner, your son/daughter, or as in this case, your customer. It's in human nature to always ask for more.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people like indie games if they're good games, no one likes them just because they're indie games. Same as a triple A game, a game doesn't get unanimous praise just because it's a triple A, it gets it cause it's good. Same with indie ones. There are many indie games that **** over bad triple A games in the same way there are many triple A games that **** over the bad indie ones. I think all people want from Sony are decent games on ps+ not the junk no one is buying because it's bad or ill-conceived whether it's indie, triple A, old or new.. Just something good.

Theres definetley good indie games such as Guacamolee but most indies are crap. But some people make it out that e ery indie game is good.

Will this be the full Saints Row 4? Or is it like the infamous & metal gear offerings?

Similar to the infamous and mgs offerings.

Eurogamer Furi Review - Verdict: Recommended
A stylish, mechanically polished boss rush game
Furi effectively channels the spirit of Punch-Out!! to make for an unexpected gem.

Seems like it may have been swapped for Fat Princess? That doesn't appear to be free after all.

Fat Princess Piece of Cake for Vita seems to be free but not a Vita thing. But that seems to be some cack free to play thing anyway.

Yakuza 5 not appearing correctly. It showed the Plus logo until it got into my basket, then it was suddenly £32.99 whilst everything else was free.

Also on another infuriating note, I found all last month's free games still in my basket - I must have forgotten to check out!

5 Jul 16 #165
Lol @ last months free games still being in there! Don't mean to laugh I apologise but it's the kind of thing I would do and it's really tickled me and improved my day. Thanks.

As for the Yakuza thing yeah it's been discussed in a thread just for that game. It basically appeared for a while and has now been removed from the PlayStation Plus section and is full price again. I missed it by a few minutes :disappointed: Some guy asked them about it on the playstation blog and soon after it had been removed. darn it.

FURI is fantastic. Its a game ive been waiting for, really technical and rewarding. Harder than Souls series and it takes skill. Amazing game and i cannot believe it got it through ps+
darkspace100
9 Jul 16 #172
Really? I thought Furi was just typical ps plus shovelware so if its good i'll give it a try. So what game is it similar to? The souls games?
corey1993

Its a boss rush, bullet hell game. Its got deep gameplay and rewarding. Its a really fun game.
