Thanks op. Very convenient to have the Lightning cable always there. Biggest plus for me is the 2 year guarantee. Many of the popular ones on Amazon with good reviews offer 18 months

£15 for 7000mah. Not great. I got an Amazon deal for 22,000mah for £15 - works a treat.

I should have been a bit more wary!

1. Suggest the OP amends heading to state this is i phone etc specific. It has a " lightning" conductor, oops, connector which means it's useless for my android phone. I assume that as the USB connector is full size, this is only to recharge the device.
2. It may be light as pointed out but has an enormous footprint. Almost as big as an iPhone and almost twice as thick so not really pocket size.

I did buy a power bank from Amazon that was about the size of a fountain pen which was much better for my needs ie mini USB, but had to go back as it was faulty. Looks like I'll have to re visit that one.

Not voted either way as this will doubtless suit apple heads.

yes it can, it has another usb port you can put a cable from for other devices, but you need your own cable.

True! But yes it would charge an iPhone about 3 times as an iPhone battery is 1810mAh so you would get at least 3 charges and a bit left over.

Yes many people are fully aware about that. But they are not chinese brand and subject to rigorous QC. I have given example about buying for Instance genuine Nokia battery (made in china) vs cheap chinese non branded battery.

My point here is that it is not a fair comparison, comparing between chinese non branded battery with a well known brand like this, like done by purplegoldfish, even if you include the fact that the chinese battery has a larger capacity.

Has anyone bought chinese non branded LED lamp from poundshops, in many occasions it is broken in less than a year. Compare with Philips LED how many of them are broken in less than a year ??

I do agree with you on that. I used to work in imports from China and am aware that the QA/QC is a major part of what differentiates each product. I highlighted my original comment as you only referred to stuff being made in China, not the fact that some stuff made in China is high quality and some stuff is naff.

These do 2 charges on an iPhone 6 Plus. What's the point of a power bank when you'll be charging it as much as your phone? Much prefer the 20k+ ones on Amazon.

Charging is not a lossless process ( batteries and charging chips get hot during charging, this is all lost energy from battery ), it might or might not do 3 full charges, depending on charging efficiency.

Bought one, ok there may be cheaper options but equally there are more expensive options as well regardless of a lightning connector. According to the packaging it will charge an iPhone6 two and a half times and a iPhone 6 plus 1.8x. If the lightning connector is no use to you its cable makes into a nice handle!
The lightning connector has a 1A output, the usb (under a flap on one side) has a 2.1A output. Weight is 172g. The design with all outputs enclosed to some degree, will be useful to cyclists, walkers etc whereby it should not unduly affected in damp conditions.
