I found this deal at tesco today ...seems to be a good deal £2.99 for 240 bags.

PG Tips 240 Pyramid Teabags 696g have been as low as £2.49 but I have not seen a box
at this price for a long time.
Lowest price was 240 for £2.85 at OneStop about 2 weeks ago so currently this is not a
bad deal plus you get Clubcard points (minimum spending applies<3

More wiggle room for the price drop from the manufacturers since they make more money out of the normal price since they reduced tea in the bags to allow them to make more profit. Don't forget that the amazing supermarket price cuts, special offers and bog offs are funded by the suppliers and not the supermarkets.
