Seems like a pretty good deal to me. Not often you can find the 208 GTI on a good lease deal.
£131.99 per month Inc. VAT x 23 months
£1187.91 deposit
£360 processing fee
8000 annual mileage
Totals £4583.68 which works out at £190.99 per month taking all of this into account.

not bad but i would never entertain the thought of an initial payment of more than 3 months personally.

Change title to reflect actual monthly cost otherwise prepare for this deal to go sub zero.

Is 9+23 along with monthly cost not enough?

How come out of interest? Paying more down lowers your monthly payments and usually works out cheaper.
There is no option to customise the initial deposit, but you could ring and enquire.

You can do 3 months initial rental- £489.35...works out a little bit more than the op's deal.

Looks like business only, not personal?

It's only business because it's excluding VAT. Add VAT on for personal. I should've really linked the post to the Personal deal - will do that now.

Ah fair enough. Just saw it was under the 'business lease cars' section so thought it was business only.

I got one of these for £144 plus £1400 on 8k miles personal which IMO is better than this. it was with select car leasing and delivered in 3 weeks from aaking6

Yeah, definitely sounds better (if more deposit and more per month is considered better?)

£360 processing fee............What is that for ?
cyissa to WheresMeNuts
23 Jun 16#15
Just a charge for processing all of the documents that go with getting a new car, particularly on finance. Unfortunately, this is pretty standard. I'd be interested to know if they'd waiver this fee, though.

I think this will be the broker's profit, you may avoid this by going direct to a Peugeot dealer.
I'm 99% sure they won't waive it, because they would then be doing the deal for nothing, which would be no use to them - the dealer on the other hand may work for nothing, as the car will count towards their target.

I am also struggling to see how paying more upfront and per-month is better!

True, doubt you'll get the same deal on the car though, but always worth a try!

I read Cyissa comment about this deal being without VAT @ 131.99. Hence why i thought my deal was better. Im old and easily confused OK

Good deal, but it has been better. I got this exact car back in September 2015 on personal lease with 10,000 miles P/A for 1+17 @ £166.52 P/M + £199 admin fee. So total is £3196.36 over 18 months works out at an average of £177.58 a month, with 10,000 miles rather than 8,000 too.
Saying that, this is a cracking good car and worth paying a fair bit more for!

Got one of these in the £166 per month deal about 10 months ago (10k mileage per year, 18 month lease, no deposit)
My entire distance covered (about 8000 miles) has averaged 40.3 mpg. The car has great acceleration, reaches 100mph easily on a short straight. The interior's of great quality. Leather heated seats, glass roof, DAB radio and all that. It's a great car to drive and overall I'm really pleased with it, but it's not one I'd personally go for again, as I prefer a bigger car.
Feel free to ask any questions if there's anything you'd like to know.
I asked about this when I got mine from NVS. Apparently this is their income, it's all they make on the deal, hence why going directly to a dealer often means you don't pay this.

I agree with interest rates so low it doesnt make much difference to the overall cost or net present value

We have this car and would recommend it, but this price seems a little steep.

23 Jun 16#30
Well its quite simple really, I only want to pay for value earned by the car (or as close to that figure as possible). The amount of value it earns is going to be the same every month I own it so why would I want to pay 9 months in advance even if it did reduce the remaining monthly payments?
In an ideal world I'd like the initial payment to be the same as every other month but I've seen many that offer that, if any at all.

WARNING: At the end of my 3 year lease, returned the car and been hounded for £400 for minor damage. They pick over it with a fine tooth comb then refuse to negotiate a lower settlement and every time speak to them (Peugeot finance) they act rude on phone, then day later different person demanding money. Major hassle and highly advise to avoid!

what is the 'minor damage'?

I have honestly never had that trouble. I've handed numerous cars back with fair wear and they've not said a word. But this deal isn't Peugeot finance, so with all due respect, doesn't really apply to this deal.

The more I look at this deal the more tempted I'm becoming. Test drove a 208 gti Peugeot sport at the weekend and was pleasantly surprised by it.
Has a anyone here had any experiences with this company before?

Me too, but I'm tied into a lease atm with a couple of years left! I'm tempted to give it a test drive but that will do more harm than good if I enjoy it :P
I haven't had any experience with V4B personally, but there's been a few posts from there popping up recently and nobody's had anything bad to say about them, if that helps.
