I got one of these for £144 plus £1400 on 8k miles personal which IMO is better than this. it was with select car leasing and delivered in 3 weeks from aaking6

Good deal, but it has been better. I got this exact car back in September 2015 on personal lease with 10,000 miles P/A for 1+17 @ £166.52 P/M + £199 admin fee. So total is £3196.36 over 18 months works out at an average of £177.58 a month, with 10,000 miles rather than 8,000 too.

Saying that, this is a cracking good car and worth paying a fair bit more for!

Got one of these in the £166 per month deal about 10 months ago (10k mileage per year, 18 month lease, no deposit)

My entire distance covered (about 8000 miles) has averaged 40.3 mpg. The car has great acceleration, reaches 100mph easily on a short straight. The interior's of great quality. Leather heated seats, glass roof, DAB radio and all that. It's a great car to drive and overall I'm really pleased with it, but it's not one I'd personally go for again, as I prefer a bigger car.

​I asked about this when I got mine from NVS. Apparently this is their income, it's all they make on the deal, hence why going directly to a dealer often means you don't pay this.

I agree with interest rates so low it doesnt make much difference to the overall cost or net present value

We have this car and would recommend it, but this price seems a little steep.

Well its quite simple really, I only want to pay for value earned by the car (or as close to that figure as possible). The amount of value it earns is going to be the same every month I own it so why would I want to pay 9 months in advance even if it did reduce the remaining monthly payments?

In an ideal world I'd like the initial payment to be the same as every other month but I've seen many that offer that, if any at all.

WARNING: At the end of my 3 year lease, returned the car and been hounded for £400 for minor damage. They pick over it with a fine tooth comb then refuse to negotiate a lower settlement and every time speak to them (Peugeot finance) they act rude on phone, then day later different person demanding money. Major hassle and highly advise to avoid!

The more I look at this deal the more tempted I'm becoming. Test drove a 208 gti Peugeot sport at the weekend and was pleasantly surprised by it.
