Soooooooooooo hard to choose which one I should buy this round one or the other one!!!!!
Events, texts, app alerts, incoming call, fitness and sleep tracking–stay on top of everything that gets you going, all with a simple, discreet glance.
Finally a smartwatch that looks like a watch! only 7.5mm thin, it's so lightweight you might forget you're wearing it, until of course, it helps you save the day.
I wanted this one but the battery life is only 2 days so I have gone for the Time Steel :P

I still find it a bit strange that people complain about the battery life for a smart watch being 'only x days'. Surely anything a day or beyond is great? I don't wear my watch in bed, so it wouldn't be difficult to fire it on charge overnight.

I got the time steel a few weeks back for £130 via amazon \ flubit, it's a great upgrade from the pebble classic I had before that. Turn the Bluetooth off at night and you get over a week between charging, and that's with the step counter and sleep tracking on.
Only problem is the silver one comes with a cream suede strap which gets very grubby, esp as the watch is probably going to be worn 24/7.

I got the red suede and gold, but my father in law got the silver and cream suede - initially any marks look a little scruffy, but after a while the straps age and look good IMO. Glass coating is soft as hell though, get a screen protector asap,I highly recommend GadgetWraps

Amazon are also doing the black one for 139.99 if you prefer to use them - I got one the other day from them at that price. The battery life, as mentioned in another post, is considerably less than the Time (which I also have) but because of the small battery it charges very quickly (half hour) - I don't think it's much of a problem, can be done over breakfast for a lot of folk. I prefer wearing the Time Round over the Time, more discreet, more like a normal watch!
The Time 2 looks great though, can't wait to see one of those when they arrive, and hopefully they'll do a Round version of that with the bigger screen / less bezel thingy going on...

Dont buy one (And I say that as a Pebble time fan and owner!)
The "Time 2" is currently on Kickstarter... Looks to have a lot more features, including a heart rate monitor meaning better Pebble health integration. Same OS.

Maybe because some people, unlike you, do like to wear it in bed for sleep tracking and alarms.

you may want to have a look at their latest Kickstarter campaign which offer Pebble Time 2 at similar price with a claimed 10 days battery. http://kck.st/1WfrzV8

Anybody know if the screen in this is actually round?
Judging by the huge bezel, I've always it's a square screen with the edges blanked off.

It is round which does mean some 3rd party apps and watchfaces dont work.
I wear my round when i want it to be discreet and the time for normal workdays and classic for sleep tracking

It's short for this type of watch compared to the normal Pebbles and I currently use a Vivoactive which lasts around 7-10 days on battery. Technically I guess it's no problem to charge the device every night but it's good not having to worry about the battery on it.

I know it appears round. But whether it's round or a blanked off square screen underneath the bezel is my question.

It's blanked off.
Which helps with none round apps as they are more likely to work. Activity blox is one watchface that shows it with half a block missing
