Looks good for the money.

3 year warranty.

Description -

Handy, lightweight soldering iron with comfortable soft grip
Stand with 2 flexible arms for securing small workpieces and metal coil for securely holding soldering iron

picked one up today, not used it yet but stand alone seems worth a couple of quid as it has little gripper arms (only adjustable in one axis though) and a storage tray. will try it out tomorrow on a couple of kits i've got but since i've not used one since CDT at school i may need to brush up :S

Good advice, this one is not good enough for professional use, but of course anyone that needs a professional grade tool will know that already. I use one like this and agree it would suit 99% of people reading this article.

Adequate spare / second soldering iron :smiley: Good value for money.

I use a Metcal for my main soldering iron and a similar one to this as a spare. The difference is night and day but so is the price (£7 vs £200 !).

One of these will be good enough for 99% of what people need to do out there.
