I suspect this may be a local deal for local people, and indeed may only have been a one-off at my local store.
Couldn't believe my luck when I saw this on the shelf for £15.75.

If you have a plate of food you cannot finish because you've turned into Mr Creosote ('a wafer thin mint') you can reheat it later in the microwave.
This is a standard feature of all microwave ovens, and not unique to this model.

Ok cool, what's re-heat?
clayts
21 Jun 16#41
Yes it does - the manual helpfully advises that reheated food needs to be 'piping hot' and suggests a reading of 73 degrees on a food thermometer is what you're aiming for. It also notes you should not put the thermometer in the microwave whilst heating the food up.... :man:

Uh-huh.
I'm boggled by the amount of heat this deal has attracted to be honest.
Amazed the amount of heat one microwave bought in Bulwell can create. Only says 800w on the box, not 8 million...

Excellent buy if you can get it, my similar Panasonic lasted me over twelve years of daily use.

What do you mean heat function? That's what a microwave does - heat things... If you mean re-heat - then it's still the same thing.

Does this microwave have a heat function? Need to replace mine but worried it'll be different?

Didn't see any this price in tesco Hucknall, (the next local) as I was looking for one myself, although to be honest they way they were displayed it was hard to see what prices related to which micro, but sure I'd have spotted a £15 label.

This model seems to get decent write ups at Amazon and Tesco apart from a few people whinging about it being too small. It's the same size as a rubbish one I got for £30 from Argos a few years back, and is more powerful, so I'm more than happy with it.
Microwave meal for one tonight then...one of these I think

£15 is brilliant. Just be thankful it's not one of their Slimline Combi (the smaller, compact sized, convection oven/microwave/grill/combi) models as I had huge problems with two of those (sent back to Amazon - reviews are pretty scathing too).
Hopefully the lowlier microwave/grill models are more reliable.

Does that mean 'for local people' only then ?
