Available cheaper at various HK based retailers, but this might be of use for those who want piece of mind with Amazon returns policy.

Even at £225 I'd still want it to come directly from Amazon themselves and not a reseller, I'd be concerned about warranty issues if your device fails.
I'm buying a 5x in a few weeks time for my eldest son, I want to ensure that if a warranty issue occurs I'm talking to someone in the country I purchased it from, and directly to them and not via e-mail or having to pay myself to ship it back to them.

How does this phone compare to Samsung S5? thanks

Technologically it's not a massive leap forward, just a modest increase.
If I had an S5, that was still in perfect order and the battery held a good charge, and I'd probably stick with it (unless you must have stock Android and Android N when it comes out).
The Galaxy S7 though is a big technological leap up from the S5, and the price reflects this.

Cold from me, this is not from Amazon but an Amazon seller.

I'd go for the Nexus, purely for the software support you'll get from Google. And it's probably cheaper....?

Do Not get the LG G4. This suffers from loose motherboard connections resulting in a broken big core processor and a brick of a phone

Hot from me. You've got the customer service of Amazon and the 5X is an excellent phone. Very satisfied with it. Stock Android is a breath of fresh air

How does the nexus compare to an iPhone 5s? Obviously this will attract the 'iphone is the best' comments, but I've currently got the 5s but have wanted the nexus for a while. From what I've read in reviews, they are on a par,or the nexus is better (as it is newer) but I wondered if there were any real life users?

I do like the Nexus, had the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 7 for almost 3 years with no problems.

is the battery as bad as they say?

My Mrs has got one, she gets through the day no problem, and that's worth battery hogs like Facebook and Facebook Messenger always on the go.
It's not class leading, but should be enough for average users (certainly better than my Honor 7).

My battery lasts all day with regular use. It has rapid charge and only take around an1 hour to fully charge.

Offer applies to the Nexus 6P only. This one priced at £339 in Google Play Store making this Amazon offer a great deal.
I have the 16Gb version (yes I know its not 32Gb but suits me fine) which I got from eGlobal at £167 with further £3 TopCashback off that. Had no problems with them (unlike some) although hoping not to need warranty repair. Amazon (even just fullfilled by them) does however give peace of mind so voted Hot.

Fulfilled by Amazon only means that it is the companies stock in an Amazon warehouse(am I correct in thinking that?)
Smart Tech Electronics are based in the US so would this still be a UK phone?
EDIT: Ignore me for being an idiot, it states UK in the description
