This has now reduced to £215.49 on Amazon. Plus you could get it cheaper by using either the £10 off £100 plus spend on the link on this site via Voucher Cloud, or go via Flubit, I've just had an offer of £200.49 via them
Sold by Superior- Deals and Fulfilled by Amazon. If you go via Flubit, they sghip it from Fireworks Merchant Ltd...which I think is Amazon anyway.

Haven't got much time but I can say my P8 is still running Lollipop but I gave the H7 to my gf and it had an official OTA update to Marshmallow a few weeks back. Keep a watch out on vMall the Honor 7 drops to £209 on there quite often... And sometimes with freebies!

haha it's funny you should mention the honor 7. the more i think about the p8 the more I think the honor 7 would be more suited to me. the only issue is I cant find a reasonably pried honor 7 but can find a reasonably priced p8 & op2
Ideally i'd like a metal bodied phone, good camera at least 3gb ram & rear fingerprint scanner.
the p8 outweights the op2 in terms of design & the metal body but the op2 has an extra gb of ram & finger scanner (albeit front one)
the honor 7 on the other hand offers a rear finger scanner, metal body (even if not as "sleek" and "elegant" as the p8) and better camera (on paper) than the p8.
the op2 appeals as its very good specs for the price & it would be a change from emotion ui (have been using huawei for the past 2/3 years) which ii've kinda gone off (though launchers are available to fix that).
i can pick up a p8 and op 2 in the 150-200 bracket if i'm quick but i can't seem to find an honor 7 under 200. Its trying to figure out how much more the honor 7 is worth paying for. or should I let the p8 & op2 pass & hold out for an honor 7 that hopefully will fall below 180
.... is there a marshmallow update available ota for both the p8 & the honor 7?

Being honest mate the P8 is almost perfect, the camera for me is on par with the iPhone 6s, lots of detail and the colours have good contrast, low light performance is nice too. I don't play games but can say everything else including web browsing, YouTube, instagram, snapchat etc etc has zero lag.
I would however recommend the Honor 7, it was the phone I had before this... I only picked the P8 up due to CPW having it for £150. The Honor 7 has a slightly faster processor, fingerprint scanner, same sort of build quality and for me the most important - a much better battery. However - Camera is 20mp and you can get more detail out of certain scenarios cause of this BUT low light performance does suffer due to a lack of ois and it's a tiny bit fatter. Still It's the best budget phone I've had.
I have no experience of the OP2 unfortunately but loved the OPO when it was relevant. Prefer the UI, Oxygen OS is much better than EMUI and closer to stock in my opinion but with Nova or similar you get a comparable experience.
If you need any more info from my experience with the P8 let me know.

i'm thinking of getting a p8 but just not sure. swinging between that & the op2. would ideally like a finger scanner but prefer the metal body of the p8 over the build of op2.
how has the p8 been as a phone, any lag, how the camera? i had the p8 lite but lots of lag

Currently £213 fulfilled by Amazon, just submitted a flubit 'demand' so let's see if they can beat that, could bite if they do. The battery life and lack of fingerprint scanner on my P8 are doing my head in... :/

To add to the the previous reply, I have been using my OP2 since October, and before the Android M upgrade, I was hating the fingerprint bugs, and dual sim issues.
They failed to fix the bug where one sim just stops catching signals.
After the upgrade it feels awesome. The phone is a lot more fluid and faster, fingerprint sensor is now very responsive and I have moved to using only one sim. The phone is a bit heavy for my liking, but the great battery life makes up for it. Overall, I would recommend it, even though I am bored of it.

It is quite usable one handed, especially if you go for the sandstone back. That is one of the things I require for a phone, and the reason I never use my Nexus 6 and sold my iPhone 6+. It is one of the things nice about both phones and I don't have massive fingers so it should apply for most. TBH the OP2 isn't as premium as a top flag ship but is kind of in between. It certainly feels nice in the hand and not as cheap as most other phones, it is also quite heavy (but not too much) so that adds to the premium feel.

can get it from a seller locally for 175

i still really like it. the new Marshmallow update has made it really nice as the beta wasn't that good. you can buy them directly from Amazon too now which is nice. I'm not sure it might be better waiting a month of so to see if price drops now. if I hadn't got a s7 edge as needed unlimited data on 3 and contact was due I'd still use it as my daily phone. It was the only android phone I had which lasted me a day until got my s7 edge. it actually has bigger battery then the 3 too and much bigger then the 5X.

I'm sorry - but while I'm a Nexus fan - the 'upgrade' in this particular phone is minimal, really. All (mostly) software which is these phones strengths. Hardware alone it should (easy) be a sub £200 phone for the 32GB version.

The OnePlus 3 is £100 more. I think they are both good deals for the money. I also own a OnePlus 2 which I now see having another price cut from £250 which is also great for the money. I would say the Nexus probably has better camera but worst battery life by a mile. Hardware wise both OnePlus phones are better but Nexus always has first updates and stock android (though OnePlus OS actually improves on stock in some ways as opposed to bloatware) I love them both but the 32GB and battery life of the N5X were just too limiting for me (I should know as bought it, sold it, and bought it again when price dropped!) I think Android N might help though. Nexus does have NFC and fast charge. If you can afford the OnePlus 3 then go for that but an extra £100 is another few buys on here. If you're a lighter user and don't store lots of music (Google photos negates need for much on any device for pictures and video) go for 5X as great value at this price and i prefer the photos it takes, especially in low light even to my S7 Edge.

i'm thinking of going for the op2. how do you rate it as a phone especially now its almost a year old? battery? camera? any lag? on paper the spec look fab but that means nothing. if it had a metal body i'd jump straight in but now its a toss up between that and the huawei p8.
